Status: offline 		For the record:  I was born in late 1965 so Kennedy was before my time.  I view him as a historical figure, not as a figure of my lifetime.  What I do know of him, I think he was, overall, a good President (the space program, even if it was a cover for balistic missle research, tax cuts) but not with out his flaws (Bay of Pigs, Vietnam).

My earliest memories of anything political are vague memories of Watergate and Nixon being pardoned by President Ford.  Not that I really understood it.  I was more interested in watching Land of the Lost.
