I believe people. It's strange that isn't it. Why would I not? If they later tell me they were lying I ask them why? Everyone has a good reason for lying. The lies don't stop when you meet. Submissive people want to please. Often they think that they are helping by pretending to be what they think a Dom/me wants them to be and yes Dom/me's do it as well. If the need is very great we will all lie. It's hard to find out in a reasonable space of time if someone is right for you. It's also almost impossible to get over the concept of ownership when someone thinks that BDSM is about play. And no I have no problem with people who play as long as they tell me that is what they are into so I don't waste my time on them. It's quite possible to be in a relationship for half a lifetime and still not know why the other person is in it. I thought I had been lied to more since entering thias lifestyle but actually when I look back most of my vanilla relationships were far from honest. Now I strive for honesty and I usually get it eventually from others.
