Oh, prices n veggies and milk are going to go up too. They have to be trucked in from the farm, and that shipping takes gasoline. There's onlu so much profit that the companies can absorb, only so much that they'll be willing to absorb, before passing it down to you and me. Germany, and most of Europe for that matter, isn't built on an infrastructure based on people having readily accessable personal transportation. The cities are in most cases centuries, even milennia old, when people walked or took horses wherever they went. In the U.S., Especially in the mountains and the midwest, our cities are laid out with the assumption that people own, and are willing to freely use, automobiles. I wish I had $93,000. There's a company, "Tesla Motors", that's supposed to be releasing the "Tesla Roadster" a completely electric car with gasoline-engine speeds and endurance sometime about October. $0.02, Dauric.
