Status: offline 		I went to Nemsis on saturday night in Huddersfield and had the best night ever 
I dont know what I was expecting to be honest and christ did I nearly shit myself on the way in when we pulled into a dark remote location and men dressed in black with torches escorted us in It reminded me of one of the scenes in the Hostel the new film by or directed by Tarrantino!!  I think I was more scared than my boy haha
When we got inside it was awesome, everyone was so so friendly and the play was great.  I had great fun with my boy in a private room and then went on a strange looking spiders web type thing and got spun round !!! (the red wine made me want a go lol)  and then curiosity got the better of me and I allowed a good Dom friend to show me what it felt like to have a needle put in me, my boys face was a picture till I explained I was purely interested in the sensation and had absolutely no intentions of including it in our play lol.  It really doesnt hurt though , saying that I had a blue needle and I think they are the smallest ha ha.  I am so glad I finally braved the scene and cant wait to go back and make friends and have more fun
I guess this isnt really a questioning post more a happy thread seeing as there are a lot of deep ones on the board today.
How was your first time at a fetish night? Did it live upto your expectations? Was there anything you saw and thought hey I'd never thought of that before and gone home to have a bash ?

Status: offline 		Very cool!!! My Daddy is a private person, but He is understanding enough that I do need other lifestylers in my life on a person-to-person level. We are working on coming up with a compromise to keep the both of us happy.

Status: offline 		It was certainly nice to be sat with my boy at my feet in his collar and lead and be able to have normal conversations with people and just be us 
It really was greta I'm so glad my Dom friend invited me for his birthday , saying that I did freak out about 5 times over what to wear beforehand lol .

My boy is very private and unfortunatly it wasnt his thing so I doubt he will go with me again but I certainly did enjoy it, Ill just need to find a spare arse to spank next time !!!

Definatly grab me and say hi Maria would be greta to chat   God I am brave then lol if it wasnt the smallest,  I wont be touching a pink ever thought I felt that for her when I watched that go in ouch !!!
I soooo want a dungeon now lol and a spiders web and a lift you upside down pulley thing

I was a bit worried about it being clicky or people not talking to new people but I have to say I was so impressed by the atmosphere and the friendliness it was great .

Status: offline 		Lol I only saw hoods inside but I must admit the men did scare me a biton the way in !!!   But they were all lovely and there were people inside who saftey check all the equipment when your on something that moves you about to make sure your safe and will help you learn how to use them which I thought was great :D
The nice thing about it too is there isnt a bar so theres noone drunk messing about, you can take your own drinks and they sell crisps and mars bars so I was happy ha ha !!!

Status: offline 		The guy I thrashed mercilessly (well, sort of) last Monday goes up to Nemesis regularly, and says its great. I might pay a visit, but its a long, long way from here. I dont mind driving for work, but overnight hikes are not my idea of a fun time! I'd get this guy to drive, but he took me to the BBB last time, and I'm not too sure about his vehicle LOL! (Sorry D!)

I had a right tantrum and refused to go on friday lol becasue I didnt know what to wear !! I ended up wearing my favorite black satin costet, silver and black mini tutu (lol) black thigh high boots, frilly knickers !! stockings and my black satin long gloves
My boy said I looked shit hot !!!
Ive been asked to BBB as well so will try that one maybe soon.  I wish there was somewhere closer to home too unfortunatly I will have to rely on my friends to take me with them again but they have said thats cool so yay

I decide the night before, what I'm going to wear, and hang it up ready.

Then I phone whoever I'm going with to check what she's wearing.

Then, by use of emergent psychic powers (blame the HRT), I go change whats hanging up, dependent on what my friend told me, or more exactly, what my new found powers picked up.

The following night, we turn up in different but complementary outfits.

Status: offline 		Wow, as someone who is known to plan outfits days or weeks in advance, trying to coordinate with someone else would just be hazardous to my health.

Of course I've also gotten to the point where I realize I'm very likely to end up naked in a few hours and not wanting to get dressed all back up anyway, so a lot of the time I'll say fuck it and just do a simple pink bustier and boots.

Status: offline 		Thats the thing though LA - we dont coordinate. Its only due to interpretation of what my friend is saying, that we end up coordinated. A simple one I learned early on is "I'm not going to bother too much" which means for instance "I'm going to go all out with thigh highs, corset, gloves etc" when I turned up comfy but hardly very glam as a result of not listening properly to what was being said.

The sub with me had never been either and said as we left, "Don't look back or you'll turn into a pillar or salt." It was a tremendous place.

I remember the first one I went to was a bit of a disappointment, people weren't very friendly (despite my attempts to say hello and strike up a conversation, my subs were too shy LOL), there was a bar, too much alcohol for my liking at a bdsm event and a lots of smoke, and no one was doing much play at all, just parading around in fetish gear. One girl was put into a giant birdcage and hoisted up a few feet and then down again ... and that was that! She seemed to be just trying it out, it didn't appear to be part of a scene as such. Considering I had contacted them before by email, explained I was coming from across Australia and would be bringing 2 subs (one 6'4 and BIG and the other 5'4 and little so we didn't exactly fade into the crowd!), I was rather surprised that no one kept an eye out for us to greet us. I won't name the club as perhaps we just hit a dead night, and I don't think it exists now anyway.
Subsequently I braved going to a play party in Perth, where I had an entirely different experience - people were friendly and there was heaps of play! Alcohol was limited to BYO and the advice was to drink AFTER playing, there was a limited smoking area so I could breathe, and everyone was keen to show people how to try out the different furniture and toys. Later on we hosted parties for this group from our own Dungeon, and I was careful to seek out new people and make them welcome, and offer help with equipment etc as required.
It IS awesome to be among people of like mind, free to be yourselves, express your D/s publicly, and even to see people of all shapes and sizes getting naked without fear! Really freeing to not be worrying about bulges and stretch marks ... I've not seen a "perfect body" in the Dungeon yet but no one gives a damn. It's just great to see people playing and enjoying it. Make the most of it! It's one thing I am missing a bit with our recent move to a small country town!
