Lover of the healing arts here. Manicures and pedicures are fine, but for the overall wellness of this domme, I'd want my sub to wow me with his knowledge of reflexology first, then reiki. Maybe even a bit of Rolfing (not to get all California on you).

Pedicures are at the top of my list.  It would be heaven if he knew how to do the full service; scented foot bath, exfoliation, massage, cuticles, nail trim/polish, and lotion/balm.

I'd choose all three, however.  Greed is GOOD.

Thank you Pixel. It seems the tally is being led by mani/pedi. Unless we have further input, then that is the direction I shall follow. Has anyone information on books by where I could learn? I have found some internet sources and am seeking to enhance my options.

If you're desire to learn to do manicures and pedicures is partly as a means to find another profession, I'd be very concerned for your health and safety.  Quite honestly, the chemicals in the work environment that you'd be exposed to all day long IMO are rather toxic and not healthy.  The fumes and odors in most salons bother me as soon as I walk in the door.  It's also not exactly a high paying profession compared to others available to you.  But if you'd be learning it to serve your Mistress, then I think it is certainly a wise thing for you to do as nearly all women appreciate a good manicure and pedicure.  Plus, your exposure to the chemicals is then very limited.  Clearly you've received a great deal of feedback that shows many of the dominant ladies would greatly value having a submissive who was trained to provide that service for them.

I suppose one of the the questions to consider would be whether or not you'd want to also learn how to do artificial nails or "tips" and such too?  That's something that I possess no training or experience with.  That having been said, until you've found a woman to serve, I'd really suggest you focus your energies on what YOU want to learn and would most enjoy learning!  Once you've found the Mistress for YOU, then let HER tell you what She'd like you to learn and proceed from there!  She'll see that you have the desire and initiative to improve yourself and learn new things that will assist in serving her needs.  For a woman that is wise and wants a long term relationship, that will be what counts!

As you asked for it, that's my further input.

I would have them learn all 3 - probably the mani/pedi first because they are so much etter when they are given with the attention and desire to serve from a willing warm body.

My thoughts anyways.

Thank you again pixel. I've come to know you for your sound advice. I do wish to learn only to serve, not as a source of income. I am also one who enjoys sensation of myriad kinds, so it would be fun for me to learn all three, as they all have a foundation in that.

I appreciate all the responses I've recieved, and thank you all.

Kitte

Manicure/pedicure would be most important to me as I have good friends who can do the other skills very well.  Also, being able to give an excellent deep massage would be another talent that would be excellent to have.

Why not just learn all of them and be well rounded?

Kitte,
Rolfing is akin to a type of deep tissue massage.  It is very deep tissue and intense.  I believe it is also somewhat percussive in nature.  I've never experienced it so can't tell you much more.  You may want to Google it.  It was very popular in California a number of years ago.

As I recall, it wasn't something that one got up from the table feeling relaxed from; instead the recipient (or victim depending on your perspective) tended to feel as if they'd been mugged in an alley with the benefits beginning to appear a day or more later after the toxins were flushed from the muscle tissue.

Hope that helps and is reasonably accurate.
