There are four parts of a habit or behavior. Duration, Frequency, Intensity, and Interval When trying to help break a habit try working on just one, no more then two of the areas. Reduce the number (frequency) every one or two days. After a couple of weeks, leave the number alone this has also increase the interval between items. Leave that and then decrease the intensity by only allowing half an event. Reduce the intensity by stoping as soon as you catch yourself cussing and mentally tell yourself to stop. When starting a conversation, challenage yourself to not cuss for this one conversation and give yourself a mental "goodgirl" when you have done so. Go one hour, then try four hours, then half a day. the one day at a time. Give a dollar away to (someone/something you don't like) each time you catch yourself cussing. Or take a 10 dollar bill and at each conversation, begin by giving it to the person and saying "If i cuss for the next 30 minutes in this conversation you get to keep the money." that helps motives you to think before you talk. good luck
