gothicdiva -> RE: when to walk away ?? (5/27/2007 9:16:58 AM)

At least I have the strength to admit that I have some shortcomings and yes I do sometimes "fall short" and disappoint myself and others at times. *gasp* I think it takes quite a self-assured person to admit so. I'm a great person IN SPITE of my failures, shortcomings, and the like.

And for those of you that appreciate/understand humor, I hope you got my meaning with that particular song posting. No matter what the topic is, there are those of you that just want to try to initiate an argument or disagreement.

Be well,
M. Diva

I agree with you on this point. She said "partner." I don't know if somewhere we assumed it was a wife or someone mentioned it. At any rate, it's still the same...she's an unwitting victim in all of this.

At any rate, I would love to see some more male viewpoints here...it seems that a few of you are "lurking" but not posting.

Be well,
M. Diva

If degrading people by calling them 2 bit whores is your world by all means wallow in it.
It's interesting to watch you twist and contort what I really stated in a pathetic attempt to hold your ground, velvet. You get a 10 from me for you bulldogged tenaciousness. But a 1 for reading comprehension. Which quite a few people really seem to be lacking.

And you buddy are at the head of that list! You're too intent on spreading your venom you take every opportunity to do so.
LOL

i wondered how long it would take for someone to justify their misreading of the thread.

Thats a load of bullshit and you know it. She walked into that realtionship knowing full well he was involved and commited to another, yet she did it anyway. She's as much of a victim as you would be for walking into a crack-house and getting busted while your there.. As another here has on her tag line: There are no victims here, only volunteers.

gothicdiva -> RE: when to walk away ?? (5/27/2007 9:26:00 AM)

I can admit when I make a mistake. Occasionally, that does happen on forums such as these. At any rate, whether "partner" or wife, it is still the same to me. She's an innocent party in all of this and deserves to be respected as such. I think perhaps someone else may have said "wife" and I just followed suit. I didn't go back to the first page and research it, though. Perhaps you care to do that so we may see where the mistake initiated?

Mr. D,

Speaking of reading comprehension, you MISUNDERSTOOD what I wrote...the Master's other PARTNER is the "unwitting victim"....not the OP. Now, do I need to clarify that for everyone else or are we all straight on this matter?

I think gothicdiva was referring to the wife/spouse/partner. At least, that's the way I took it.

gothicdiva -> RE: when to walk away ?? (5/27/2007 9:30:42 AM)

Thank you, Viridana. I was speaking of the other person as you mentioned. I didn't think when I posted it that there would be a problem with anyone misinterpreting that.

Yeah, I screwed up. I admit that. However I don't see how me assuming it was a wife rather than an unwed partner has any relevance to the subject itself. The man has a partner, is in a relationship and is cheating on that partner. The OP engaged in this triangle knowing this.  The offence in my mind  is the same.

See how intent he is! He's the one with comprehension problems which he projects onto other people. He should concentrate on correcting his defecit - he might gain more credability.

gothicdiva -> RE: when to walk away ?? (5/27/2007 9:36:57 AM)

I concur, Viridana. He was still lying and unfaithful to his partner. Having a wedding ring or not does not make it any less of an offense. At any rate, it's time for me "to walk away." I have things to do. I'm wondering how many pages this will continue on. I guess I will check back later and see. I wish everyone a continued safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Yes, I noticed that Velvet. Had he read my subsequent posts, there would have been no confusion as to whom I was referring.

LOL. Velvet, really quit crying already. It really is unbecoming how you are such a victim.

Really? So you're saying that it wasn't appearent in the post I  responded to but in later post and somehow I was supposed to know that? Hmmm, interesting.

mistoferin -> RE: when to walk away ?? (5/27/2007 9:45:47 AM)

Wow, so much support on here today for victims of their own bad behavior. It seems a pity to waste all this rallying around and sympathy on just one lying cheater. Maybe others would like to join in and benefit? A few framed thieves, rapists who had bad childhoods, misunderstood pedophiles, persecuted serial killers? Seems there is an overabundance of understanding here today. Come one, come all!
