Hi,
I like the look of a shaved twat, kind of looks like a fortune cookie.
Anyway, the Sallys beauty supply puts out a wax, it heats up in the microwave, has no strips of muslin and can be used as little or as much. BUT I dont recomend a lot of area at one time, it can make you scream, but the results are very VERY smooth.Its called Surgi.
  Come to think about it, it might not be for everyone..*s*

My husband uses Veet and taught me a trick that has saved me a lot of irritation. After scaping off the jellied hair, have a bath, NOT a shower. The shower doesn't remove the cream thoroughly enough, and it can continue to irritate on sensitive skin. If you have a good soak in the tub, it's all gone and there are never any ill effects from residues of cream. It's the best tip ever!

as what has been said before i use Veet and that works well for me.  You said it did not work for you..how about trying to leave it on a shorter amount of time?  And believe me, you will get used to it and it won't be as bothersome!  pain free!

carolinasubm -> RE: Shaving... (6/10/2007 7:49:43 PM)

This is my first post ever, so please excuse any faux pas.  There is nothing sexier or hotter than a Mistress that shaves the patch below.  My former Mistress used to do so in order to give me unlimitied access to Her pleasure zones without the interruption of swollowing (or attempting to) hairs.  She claimed that She received the best orgasms when smooth and that She was constantly wet when clean shaven.  Of course, She insured that I was also shaved, so there wasn't any "conflict" regarding if shaving was Domme, sub or neutral.  On an aside, She always preferred the Gillette Quatro for confort and smoothness.  Regardless, it was very much fun for us both.

Arastella -> RE: Shaving... (6/10/2007 7:59:47 PM)

I wish.  I'm still in the search.  I can't do waxing because it's just too incredibly unbearable.   And, aside from oral, I don't see why its so important to so many doms that their subbie be hairless (exluding the head, of course).  I always have razor bumps, burning feelings, and itchiness.  If you wanna avoid cuts though, instead of shaving opposite the direction of the hair, shave towards that direction.  NEVER shave against the direction of the hair, you most likely will cut.  Oh, and definitely try lotion or moisturizer afterwards.

nearnyccouple -> RE: Shaving... (6/10/2007 8:19:46 PM)

i prefer getting a brazilian, when i can afford it. its about 75$ here in ny. as for the pain, if you trim it close and dont allow more than 2-3 weeks of growth, the pain is negligible. actually i think getting a lip waxing is much worse. and btw..what could be better?  a lil hot wax, a lil pain..lol  actually, i love them.  they last much longer than shaving, theres no lumps, bumps and redness, and its very low maintenence.

LadyHeart -> RE: Shaving... (6/10/2007 9:11:09 PM)

I started using an Epilady on mylegs some years ago. The first few sessions were agony. I nearly gave up. But as time went by and the hairs became weaker they became less painful to remove and grew back slower and slower. I only need to do my legs about 4 times a year now, and there's not much to pluck. So when I started "bare-ing my all" I used it there as well. Same thing - agony at first, but now I only have to do it infrequently. I can't get it into all areas, so I pluck the remainder with tweezers. It sounds disgusting and time consuming but it isn't really. I just do it when there's something on TV I'm only half interested in, lol.

My husband is a barber and is adept with a cut throat razor. It's one of his "party tricks." He has subbies lining up at play parties for a shave. It's quite a sensation - much more intimidating than an ordinary razor. You lie there not daring to cough and praying he won't sneeze, lol

I've a question for the Nair crowd [sm=hair.gif] or those that use a depilatory cream. *deep breath, refusal to blush*
Okay here goes.

How close to the actual vagina can it be used? Is it for strictly external? Can you just slap it on willy-nilly or does one need a mirror?  If so, please explain precisely in small words [8|] so that I understand where NOT to use it. Oy. Hmm I am blushing after all.

Gee earthycouple this might just fall into one of those weird cj questions you were wondering about!

cagedanimal -> RE: Shaving... (6/11/2007 9:42:51 AM)

Speaking of fire play, if it's a nice day out or the windows are open, a good way to remove or trim hair is by Fire play. The one Domme taught me how to do fire play on her legs and afterwards use a nice lotion to massage her legs and coat them. And she would use fire play to remove my hair. No cuts but not to be done inside with windows closed unless you enjoy burning hair smell.

<Waves to caged>

Dang, caged, I knew you were an animal...but burning hair off?   OMG   Surely only on da legs, huh?

Thankyou [:)]. I am Dominant, so it is fashionable and liberating to have a natural hair growing where I see fit. Many subs shave, which is fantastic, but I can take it or leave it to be honest.

I do like pubic hair on My ladies [;)]

Oooooo singe, singe I like it ;). I also enjoy wax play on hairy subs, so much more uncomfortable for them pinching away the removal of wax lol.

Well, then, I suppose it's a Good Thing that I'm *not* dominant. I wouldn't let my sub ladies anywhere NEAR a razor.

RealDom69 -> RE: Shaving... (6/11/2007 7:21:27 PM)

Personally I love being bald, felt wierd the first couple of times but now it feels cleaner and hygeinic, it feels nice too, i prefer a bald pussy therefore ladies must prefer a bald man ... I use Veet it's quick and easy ... BUT .. if you don't get it all rinsed off properly it will burn... the trick is to sit in a bath ater using it and soak off the remnants, much better than .. Great Balls Of Fire .. LOL

Surgiwax does wonders on eyebrows and such. It isnt worth a crap anywhere else since it has no strips, its harder than hell to pel off skin you cant pull taut.
I prefer to be shaved, ut i have decided shaving before going hiking was a bad idea. Sweat itches

Thus the origin of my suggestion much earlier in this thread to use corn-starch based powder (preferably unscented) to help keep things dry.  Sweating while participating in outdoor activities was what caused problems for me and a former Mistress in the past; particularly in the pubic patch above.  Using powder to pat things dry helped us both a great deal at the time.  Another excellent powder that is available is called Zeasorb which is actually non-corn-starch based, and is also available in an anti-fungal version called Zeasorb-AF.  For those who might not know, a shaved pubic area can tend to be prone to various fungal & yeast infections if not kept immaculately clean (or by transfer from their partner), which is especially difficult to do when sweat comes into the picture.  This is a common problem among cyclists, from which much of my knowledge of the subject originated. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m23.gif[/image]

OK - you use it where the hair is - that's on the external lips. The vagina is on the inside, so unless you are careless, it doesn't go on to the moist pink bits. (Where the hair is, the skin is dry). I'd suggest a mirror to start with, but the way I do it, I feel for where the hair is with the fingers of one hand, then use the other hand for applying the cream. It's not as hard as it sounds. The worst place to get it is on the anus - it will sting (though not THAT badly) - you're more likely to "slip up" there than on your pink bits. Rule of thumb - the cream goes where the skin is dry and hairy, not pink and slippery, and then bath to soak it off, don't just shower. Is that clear enough? I'm not being sarcastic - ask for more info if I'm not using small enough words, LOL

slaveboyforyou -> RE: Shaving... (6/11/2007 11:20:20 PM)

thanks to genetics, I am not that hairy anyway.  But I do trim down there and I shave my scrotum area.  I don't have to do it but a couple of times a week, and I do it in the shower.  I use a a little rubbing alcohol diluted with water as a aftershave.  It burns the first few times you do it, but it prevents razor bumps.  I do think it looks better and is more hygenic.  I don't find myself adjusting and scratching that much now that my lower regions are trimmed.
