julia YOU ALWAYS MISS THE POINT - look at how you discuss issues and deal with others.  You truly don't have a clue.

Yes.  And the best way to deal with it is to simply walk away and not play into it.

Thanks Rich - i used to respect Sinergy and i guess that i why i played along.

Oh, c'mon, Sinergy.  There is about as much suspense in that fight as on an episode of Gilligan's Island where they have a plan to get back to civilisation.

You're posting a bit of nastiness yourself, Minnetar, and don't think I'll back your play.  I'm in an excellent mood right and there is a bag of microwave popcorn over there.

My suggestion is to call it a night.

This is true, TheHeretic.

The evil twin of that approach is the decision to not respond at all to the person's attempts to browbeat.

so, anyway, i've got this idea to sew together all of ginger and mrs. howell's clothes and use them as a sail; we can get gilligan and the skipper to gather enough coconuts to make the ship, we'll build the mast out of palm fronds lashed together, and the professor can plot our route using the radio! it's just gotta work this time!

i don't use block myself; takes away the fun, might cause me to miss learning something, and i don't let alternate views bother me. if i think something is drivel (like some of my own posts), i just gloss over them. it's a handy feature to have, but we gotta remember to use it responsibly.

edited to add that my computer connection seems very slow tonight, so my posts are showing up lagging way behind where they should be...sheesh.

Actually, there are any number of threads I decided to just ignore the person attacking me on.

What is so cool about that approach are the 10-15 vituperative attacking posts by the other person, knowing that they are stuck in their need to try to pick a fight, and never getting the satisfaction of one because I dont respond.

OK.  One of them is funny as hell sometimes and the other runs the vicious attack/pitiful victim game at a level you rarely see.  Taking both of them on is a challenge every time.

      I don't think you're ready.

Glad you defended your friends as this once again shows why the block feature is so fantastic.  i can't try and talk to someone who tries to defend ignorance and wish you the best.  People can discuss issues but your friends don't do that but attack.

it has been fun and as i said wish you the best,

Yep, you gotta be pretty low, pretty much the scum of the earth if you go around actually defending your friends.
Of course, at least some of us have friends to defend.

minnie:
Why don't you PM Rich and bad mouth, name call and try and come between he and his friends. Tell him exactly why he is an asshole for actually corresponding with people YOU have deemd unfit for friendship. Ohh and don't forget to use any and all medical conditions to lay a guilt trip on him too.
Then post it publically for all to see.

That worked out pretty well for you the last time you did that. You keep on trucking girl.

I have to say, only true scum would do that! There are not enough prisons to house all these evil sort of friend backers on CM, we need to build more!

Unfortunately i like your
Dom but the jury is out on you.

minnetar

And so it goes...............
Always liking the Dom or the male in the " circle of friends" and despising his female friends, sub<s> or aquaintences. Then we approach said Dom and try and tell him how worthless his association on this MB is, the Dom/male takes up for his friends/sub/aquantences and then we pull out the old medical card and try and use that as a last ditch effort to gleem sympathy. Then it's on to the " i'm going to block you" threat and in no time: an entire group of posters are assholes and betches.

If it wasn't so pathetic, it might be funny.

It's been a long time since we had one entity that could consistantly create discourse in every thread they post in.

Hmm.  On the minnetar thing..  I think it is unbelievably lame and pathetic to consistently use the "heart condition" thing to justify her actions personally.

If you are going to be a bitch... Be a bitch...  Do not use a health condition as a crutch.  That is no excuse.  A health condition does not prevent you from acting like a bitch... So why should it prevent you from being treated like one?

I have my own issues..  No doubt.  I have battled through my own mountain of shit, most certainly.. BUT.  I have never blamed anyone or anything else for my actions.  I am who I am.  I take responsibility for that.

Hi.  My name is Sir Kenin.  And I am an asshat.  You may block me accordingly..  And if you are really lucky..  And I mean REALLY lucky..  I might even take you off of my Christmas card mailing list.

Thank you.
