     And don't have a pic, GET A FREAKIN AVATAR!!!

     C'mon people, it's a pain in the ass to scroll down looking for a particular regular poster without that useful 'lil graphic to watch for.

    You know who you are! It's so easy a caveman could do it.

Frankly, what throws me more than people with no avatar is when two or more people have the SAME avatar. But there's a limited number of avatars to go around, so I guess it's to be expected.

I went to the avatar selection pages and selected an avatar I hadn't seen before. Then low and behold a few days later I read a post that wasn't mine but had my avatar. DAYUM!!!!!!

Well... I had a pic....
but then I picked an avatar...

then I saw that someone was using the same one and posted in the same forums that I did so I deleted the avatar and put my pic back ....

then I took my pic off again....

Fact of the matter is, I don't much care for my pic, lol.
I am thinking of doing an updated one, maybe...

I have been thrown by that a few times. The wife's is not exclusive to her, but at least it is something to watch for.

Right then, since I am already becoming addicted to posting here, I have an avatar now.
(I'm hoping to have the handcuff icons by my name soon, but at least it's no longer that bloody ice cream cone.)
Does anyone know if we can upload our own custom icons to use without it having to be our profile pic?

Hehehehe There is an avatar attached to a nic I rarely use anymore and it gave me a start when someone else grabbed it. I bet he'd drop it pretty quick if he knew what sort of craziness it is posted next to in the archives.

Actually I had been here for months before I happened onto a post that had directions to pick an avatar. If I hadn't read it, I still wouldn't have one.

Luckily I still like mine since I have forgotten entirely about where to go to choose one.

At the top of the page, right side, click on "my profile." and scroll down where it takes you. There are several folders to select from.

It even says, 'click here to select avatar' or something like that.
