That was Nena, and she was hardly a one-hit wonder.

She recorded something like twenty albums and had maybe fifteen top-ten singles in Germany.

They were all in German, of course.

Dammit Lam, America (and occasionally Canada) are the only countries that count

My favorite One-Hit-Wonder song is  "Nah, Nah, Hey, Hey, Kiss Him Good-bye"  by Steam.

Then there's   "It's Raining Men" by the WeatherGirls.  Oh, how I'd love to  "...go out and get absolutely soaking wet...".  HEY!!!  Be nice!  That's a line from the song.  And, yes.  I  **DO** like disco music.  (ducks behind the couch to avoid things being thrown at her)

Also  "Something About You",   by Level 42.

"(I Just Died) In Your Arms Tonight",   by  Cutting Crew.

"The Captain of Her Heart",  by Double ("Doo-Blay")

"Slaughter On Tenth Avenue",  by Mick Ronson.

And who could ever forget that classic  "Hocus Pocus"  by Focus???    Or "Hooked On A Feeling", by Blue Suede?  (ooga shakka, ooga shakka)

There are probably others, just can't recall them right now.

missbehavin59 ---- Lou Reed was not a one hit wonder, he just wasn't played on commercial radio, just the college/underground/progressive/FM radio stations.  The ones I always listened to.  :-)

MsCfrom Melbourne ---- "My Sharona" was OK, but I really liked "My Bologna" by Weird Al Yankovic.  He's not a one-hit-wonder, but his stuff is great.

Let's see.....  I like disco music, and Weird Al Yankovic.  Is that gonna get Me banned from this site?  Or does that just make Me *really* kinky??   Would "Like A Surgeon" be good dungeon music for medical play?
