Thank you thank you thank you for the 10cc link. That is one of my all time favorite songs. Loved the 33333 song too, but 8 was always my favorite. Now for another fricken kick-ass one hit wonder...Matthew Sweet "Girlfriend". That song totally rocks!!!

They (10cc) also sang "The Things We Do for Love." I think I wore out that 45 when I was in the 7th grade...LOL There are just too many GREAT "one hits" out there. Great thread, but ya'll are reminding how old...I mean, young...I am....: ) Be well, M. Diva

Ok, don't know if anyone mentioned this song...for some reason it just came to me and I started singing it. Not sure if it was a "one hit wonder" or not...Level, you may know. "No Matter" by Badfinger....GREAT SONG! I want to believe they had more hits than this. My YouTube sound does not work for some reason, so I can't listen to the videos...: ( Singing.... Some of these clips have uneven sound quality, though I'm trying to find good ones. Badfinger had at least two other hits, both excellent tunes. "Day After Day", and "Baby Blue" were both hits for them. Good stuff.
