If your Dom / me knows you and He/She should ....He/She would know the difference in what you are doing....as in serving to serve or doing something extra special.

I agree with what LA stated.

I also know that any submissive of mine who "serves" me for reward, rather than from the desire to please me, doesnt get a reward for being selfish in that respect. It has to come from the desire for me. Anyone can jump thru hoops to get what they want, once you give them what they need. The key is to define and acknowledge the difference between the two.

When was reward mentioned? The question was not if a Dom/me ever suspected a sub/slave going through motions to gain a prize. But I rather like LaM's take on the whole thread...

Is not a prize, a reward? I dont give prizes if a sub tries to manipulate or appears insecure. For me, its a matter of rhetoric, not a fake diamond ring from a Cracker Jack box.
