This had completely left my mind for a while but it came back to me just a moment ago. I met a woman at a local bdsm club a few months ago who was pretty much average. She was middle aged, heavyset, looked and sounded like she smoked a few packs a day, but overall she was nice. She had with her, in tow, a beautiful little African-American girl who I swear must have barely been 18.  The older woman spent the night teaching the girl how to be a dom, you know, using a flogger and how to put men in their places..."You! Prance around like a pony right now before I stick this dildo up your ass!"

Well, later on, I started talking to the woman and she told me (referring to the young girl) "Yep, she's my newest webcam personality. 'Nubian Princess.' " I was a little confused till she continued, "Yeah, I've got 50 of them. The men go wild. I've got the german girl, swedish, russian, british...all of them young, beautiful, I give them a cut of the money."

It still took me a minute to figure things out but she finally made it painstakingly clear. This original mistress, who was really nothing special herself (or at least she thought not) bought the faces and bodies of other girls to use for her own purposes. She later explained that she would do the voices, quite a character actress she was, I guess, while the girls would perform the acts on the webcam for men who believed they were actually talking to the voice of the body they saw.  Pretty brilliant actually...one woman, 50 different mistresses, hundreds of men paying? 

So what do you all think of this kind of thing? Am I just naive and it's more common than I would imagine?  I just cannot fathom going to a website and picking out a mistress to talk to or interact with on camera and in the end no matter who you choose it's all the exact same person just acting out different characters and paying pretty girls to be her body double.  Talk amongst yourselves, I'm veklempt.

Sniff, no no, it's okay...I'll be all right. I just have to go lie down for a moment and gather my wits.

Status: offline 		There is an everlasting market for males who are willing to hand over cash to satisfy their sexual urges.  More than likely a good portion of these males wouldn't care that they were being scammed anyway.... interacting with two women for the price of one might only make the fantasy that much more stimulating. 

I have no sympathy for people who are willing to spend money to view a stranger online.  Most who are dumb enough to get scammed, deserve it anyway.

The woman however, is a genius!  If she can appeal to every male willing to pay, then she is quite the businesswoman-.  Marketing at its finest. Lots of companies make money on the stupidity of the consumers.  It's the American way.

Thank You, it's nice to be balanced at the fair!

Especially after riding the rollarcoaster a dozen times!

i suppose when ingenuity and opportunity collide, the result is the American way.
Capitalism at it's finest, everyone realizing a benefit and hopefully no one getting
hurt in the process. Build it and they will come, there is a market for everything
they will open their wallets or purses to experience. Some just realize how to
connect supply with demand with the least effort and expense, to garner the
maximum profit. i am a hair designer by profession, the amount of money a
Woman will advance me to keep Her locks luscious and lovely never fails to
amaze me. Then there are the daughters (getting much more done at a much
earlier age) the husbands and the sons, the friends, the neighbors and the
volleyball team. And i just stand there and create, no sweat, no toil, just
stand there and create. And i might add, the benefit of serving glorious
Women all the day long. Imagine that, paid to run my fingers through Her
hair, gosh i almost feel like prosub, i heard they exist somewhere. 

i can even rembember thinking such a senerio was taking place when i was
exploring MystressWorld, (shameless plug to meet recruitment requirements)
But i am a fairly bright boy, i saved every letter, every lesson, every little
correspondence which came my way. Hard as i tried to find a connection
that one was posing as all, it just wasn't there. Plus, i would meet the Dommes
in other sites as i merrily explored the universe. Though i will advance this
idea to Dearest Mystress, heck, i could even take on the role, i did after all
enjoy my day in striped jammies and underroos. Might even help weed out
those whom come of misguided intention, usually leaving devoted boys twisting
in the wind. (sigh) Yeah that's it, Dearest Mystress can send eveyone home,
and i'll be Domme to all the boys, i can get quite sturdy of nature when given
the opportunity. Who'll know, they'll get what they want, and hopefully,
i will be able to make their journey a much sweeter and fulfilling path in life.
Wouldn't be about the money you understand, naw, that would be about my bills.

How much this is a scam or not is another discussion. However, when there is a scam, I think lesser of one who scams than one who allows self to be scammed. To the extent this operation is a scam, it is no more admirable to me than the man who lies about death of a spouse to get laid. For this reason, I see incongruence between this thread that at some level seems to celebrate deception, and the one about men lying about former mistresses which seems to take a critical approach.

My one time wife was a phone sex operator, and worked for a short time doing phone sex while she lived with me. I was amazed. She kept a list of names, voices, and their characteristics. She could be Honey, the southern bell, or Amber, the chick with a dick, or myriad others. She took notes on her phone clients and who spoke to which personality. If there was a specific request for one of the models on the advertisements, the switchboard operators warned her before patching the phone call through.

I would not have thought you could do voice and cam separately, simply because it would be obvious that the gal on cam isn't on the phone. But that it happened doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

It is not celebrating deception, as much as marveling somewhat sarcastically in its simplistic business design.  To me, a male lying to a former Mistress is nothing like a stranger paying another stranger to view a webcam.  Obviously, there is no intent among parties to meet and have a real-time relationship.

If the woman who is marketing the scam can live with herself, then more power to her.  Is it something I would ever consider partaking in?  No.  Is paying a stranger to appear on webcam for me something I would do?  No again.

There are far worse scams out there.  Let the buyer beware, especially when it involves the internet.

Wait...you think I'm celebrating deception here? I hope that's not the impression I gave. By all means, I am certainly not. When I learned of this woman's scheme I was amused but simultaneously appalled. I was definintely NOT endorsing this as a legitimate practice nor was I hoping to get other women to agree that it's a great thing. After all, how can we expect to be treated with honesty, dignity, and respect when we treat others in such a way as to imply they are merely objects for the benefit of our income? And I say "we" to mean dominants as a whole but not myself because I don't practice anything of the sort.

Perhaps I used the wrong word and celebrate is not the right one. However, I sense an overall positive treatment of this arrangement even if it is thought to be a scam. I am examining why I read into the thread this way. I think the title (joke's on them) and a sense of ingenuity and admiration assigned to the woman is what makes me have this impression. In my opinion, it is easier to be an evil genius than an ethical genius.

Indeed this idea lies in a grey area about whether it is deception or not. There are different ways to look at it. Is she deceiving her clients, or is she simply providing her clients an enjoyable experience by hiring the personnel she needs to do so? If there is an area which is clearly not deception, an area which is clearly deception, and this arrangement lies in the grey area in between the two, in my opinion this arrangement lies closer to deception. I feel so because I expect she would not want to put up her own information on her site and say that the clients can have her voice with the body of others. And I expect that some of her clients would not want her service if they knew what in fact is occurring. Furthermore, if what she is doing is acceptable then what can be said of a man pretending to be a woman in a text medium for sake of a similar business? What about a person who engages in an online relationship only and provides a false photo? I think the argument that justifies what the woman in the story is doing--that it is the end that matters and not the means--also justifies what the two persons do in the examples I give.

Sure, this business and a man lying to get laid are not equivalent. However, to me they bear similarity; the thought that drove that comparison is that in each case each person in question (the woman in the story, and the man who lies) is misleading the other party somehow to achieve a goal (revenue for the woman, sex for the man). If I heard a man bragging about how he lied to get laid, I would be similarly unimpressed and would not laugh with him to say, yeah, the joke's on her.

If the woman is doing what she is doing openly and there are people who are obtaining her services knowing what she is doing, more power to each of them. If she is engaging in a scam and is comfortable with herself, I do not wish her more power or support.

Sure, there are worse scams out there. And my level of disapproval is greater for these worse scams. Still, that this is a smaller, somewhat grey scam does not completely excuse it for me. To speak generally about scams, while I agree there is some responsibility that lies with the consumer who is had by a scam, I lay greater responsibility with the person who executes the scam. I first assumed that your statement about these greater scams was intended to lessen the significance of this scam. I recognize that instead it could have been said as a general warning to be watchful for scams, with which I agree.

I do not expect everyone who reads this thread to see this matter the same way I do . The above is my reasoning for why I see it as I do.

Understandable sea, you saw the post from the aspect of one that might be deceived by such a situation. By the way..it's possible to be an ethical but evil genius as well. Thus My inability to wrap My brain around the concept of what she's doing.

The type of evil which one might associate with you is completely different from the type of evil I had in mind in my reference to evil genius.

To be an ethical, evil genius with respect to devising imaginative ways for sadism is entirely admirable ;-)

Sorry, my fault there with the title. I should have called it "can you believe this shit?" But everything I say tends to have a tongue-in-cheek tone which gets lost frequently online. I really should not be taken seriously unless I preface my comments with "I'm not kidding."
