ChgoFacilitator -> What is beauty? (6/3/2007 9:01:40 AM)

What is beauty?  Is it your face?  Or, is it your vulnerability?  That moment when your bare butt is stripped for discipline and you can count the heartbeats until the first sting of leather.

spankmepink11 -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 9:04:19 AM)

To me, beauty shines through in acceptance and love of ones self.    Everything else is subjective.

Vulnerable is beautiful.

Wow, that is pretty erotic[:)]

This is my view on beauty:
Beauty is not in the face;
beauty is a light in the heart.

Khalil Gibran, (1883 - 1931)

A stream of radiant light that feels good.

To me beauty is all about attitude... Fat, skinny, short or tall...

Thank you, dawntreader, for your kind observation.  It makes you all the more beautiful in my sight.

It is something that moves me in such a way, that I can only express the feelings surrounding it, though not of it.

Beauty is in the soul.

slaverosebeauty -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 10:29:54 AM)

Beauty is from the inside, it shows through the soul and encapsulates what lays within.

maledave7 -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 10:37:08 AM)

Beauty is what comes from your heart. Beauty is in the eyes of the holder. Physical attractiveness is beauty that you find in another person. Beauty is a feeling or thought for another person.
Beauty is a sub submitting to his Domme.[:)]

SimplyMichael -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 11:49:40 AM)

I prefer tall thin women with a very certain look.  That said, to this day a submissive of mine who was on the far side of a size 16 and short is one of the sexiest and most beautiful women I have ever been with and to this day, women that match her look "get" me.  She was beautiful for many reasons but a very powerful one was she loved and enjoyed her body, I NEVER had to hear "do I look fat in this dress"!!!!!

Beauty to me is that shock in the gut when you see someone for the first time.  Beauty to me is rolling over to look at your partner fast asleep knowing they look so content and safe because of you.

littledove00 -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 12:08:05 PM)

beauty is subjective.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 12:23:11 PM)

Physically I have a particular standard of beauty, symmetry is good, angles are good.  Specially when it comes to interior design, architecture and fashion beauty to me is very particular, very much a part of the pieces forming a cohesive and stunning whole.

As for beauty of life, to me that comes from something being true to itself.

MHOO314 -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 12:43:01 PM)

To Me it is the comfort and acceptance to be what and who one is.

sleazybutterfly -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 12:55:51 PM)

Beauty is in every single thing.  It can range from the first morning light as the dew covers the grass and the birds are starting their song, to the deep exotic purple of a bruise so lovingly and brutally given by my Master.  Beauty of a body free of scars, beauty of the scars that a person survived....beauty of hair that flows down a womans back, beauty of a womans head bare...beauty of sexy legs, beauty of someone with only one leg getting up and walking again...the beauty of a mansion, the beauty of a simple first home... the beauty of a newborn baby, the beauty of a face full of the wrinkles of a life well lived.

I do believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we behold beauty a million times a day, in a million different forms.

MarkMinette -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 1:20:53 PM)

Beauty? I find most people that indulge in BDSM are more into the phycological  aspect of a relationship. I'm a separated man who has truly met  the love of his life.  Going from a  "model" wife, who felt it necessary to "fit the mold"  (5'7" & 115lbs, tanned,  [but don't dare have  a thought provoking convo  with her], who MUST be "one of the girls"),  to  an  honest, open,  intelligent full-figured woman, not afraid to challenge me, who I consider my best friend, my confidante, my buddy. We share the same sense of humor, our sexual orientation is right on,  and our values are almost exact. I truly miss her when we're apart, and she occupies 90% of my mindspace. I'm in love with the most beautiful woman I've ever met.

Mercnbeth -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 1:25:55 PM)

there is no universal definition, because it is in the eye, mind, heart and loins of the beholder.

beauty can be found in many things, or experienced as a result of a combination of things, the least of which is derived from viewing physical attributes.

earthycouple -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 1:26:20 PM)

Beauty is in everything; how to find it for yourself is the real question.

stella40 -> RE: What is beauty? (6/3/2007 1:44:41 PM)

Beauty to me is someone who can be themselves and be happy with being themselves and with others without any fear, pretence or illusion.
