I am going to start calling Bush "Custer"...I think it puts the whole fiasco into proper perspective.

cyberdude611 -> RE: Support Custer and our brave troops! (6/4/2007 9:20:08 PM)

And when Hillary is elected and keeps the war going....what nickname is she going to get from you?

juliaoceania -> RE: Support Custer and our brave troops! (6/4/2007 9:43:55 PM)

She already has that nickname....

I hope the dems do not settle for her... she would not win in a general election unless bush was running again

SimplyMichael -> RE: Support Custer and our brave troops! (6/4/2007 10:03:56 PM)

Whatever moniker Hillary earns, she wasn't dumb enough to invade Iraq and didn't decieve the nation in order to do so.

Funny thing is, the ones who will work overtime comming up with the moniker will the same simpletons who thought Bill should be impeached for a blowjob but worship bush for invading the wrong country.

So Hillary can continue the war for 8 years...a war she voted for I remind you...but will be immune from criticism? And why's that? Because she has a "D" after her name?

farglebargle -> RE: Support Custer and our brave troops! (6/4/2007 11:06:20 PM)

So? She voted BASED ON THE FRAUD COMMITTED BY THE WHITE HOUSE.

Since her ability to perform her Constitutional Role was deliberately deprived, by the intentional acts of Bush, Cheney, et. al., how can you hold her responsible for failing to successfully perform that role?

I mean, the White House INTENTIONALLY presented false, misleading, and information they had reason to believe was false, specifically to prevent anyone from discovering the truth, namely that Hussein NEVER WAS A THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES.

Now, let's not for a second, forget that Hillary Clinton is a carpetbagging cunt, but then again, let's not forget that the results of any election are predetermined well in advance.

If Hillary finds herself elected, it's BECAUSE she's not going to rock the boat.

It's like Grover fucking Cleveland all over again.

Back on thread...

Seriously people, start calling Bush "Custer" as it is the perfect way to undermine their whole line of bullshit.  It shows so clearly that the troops are dying for nothing and that "supporting" them means leaving them there to die is bullshit.  This whole mess has been created by Bush's idiocy just like Custers and Custer got his men killed.

i cant help but remember the old saying..... "ignorance of the law is no excuse" that gets applied to we the people, and the way i see it ignorance of intelligence is no excuse either.

right, a fitting position for a puppet role in our puppet government.

they somehow have to keep the amero thing going and immigration, not losing site of the "global" world goals, the BIG dream (on) in conjunction with controlling the oil and the us people.  That is the ball to keep your eye on.

When states even contemplate ceding there is a serious problem in dodge.

No. My guess is that she voted that way because that is what was politically popular at the time.

Even at the Democratic debate the other night, she said "we are more safer now than we were before 9/11."

Hey, now!  That is totally unfair to General Custer!  Whatever the man's faults, at least he had the guts to be there with his men when the shooting started.

So are you suggesting that every Senator and Congressman should set up their own independant intelligence agency so they can be sure they are not being fed garbage by the aministration? Bush and his cohorts presented their falsehoods concerining Iraq as confirmed facts. If you had been in Clinton's shoes how would you have voted? Let's not also forget that she was certainly not alone, how many actually voted against the war? Very few. I'm no big fan of hers but I do see one advantage to her being elected. That being that she would keep the NSA, CIA, and FBI busy checking up on Bill and not spying on US citizens.

12. As used in Section 371, the term "to defraud the United States" means "to interfere with or obstruct one of its lawful government functions by deceit, craft, trickery, or at least by means that are dishonest." The term also means to "impair, obstruct, or defeat the lawful function of any department of government" by the use of "false or fraudulent pretenses or representations."

13. A "false" or "fraudulent" representation is one that is: (a) made with knowledge that it is untrue; (b) a half-truth; (c) made without a reasonable basis or with reckless indifference as to whether it is, in fact, true or false; or (d) literally true, but intentionally presented in a manner reasonably calculated to deceive a person of ordinary prudence and intelligence. The knowing concealment or omission of information that a reasonable person would consider important in deciding an issue also constitutes fraud.

14. Congress is a "department of the United States" within the meaning of Section 371. In addition, hearings regarding funding for military action and authorization to use military force are "lawful functions" of Congress.

15. Accordingly, the presentation of information to Congress and the general public through deceit, craft, trickery, dishonest means, and fraudulent representations, including lies, half-truths, material omissions, and statements made with reckless indifference to their truth or falsity, while knowing and intending that such fraudulent representations would influence Congress' decisions regarding authorization to use military force and funding for military action, constitutes interfering with, obstructing, impairing, and defeating a lawful government function of a department of the United States within the meaning of Section 371.

puella -> RE: Support Custer and our brave troops! (6/6/2007 5:00:17 AM)

Senator Clinton is one of my Senators, and I absolutely do not like her as a representative...not because of a personal agenda or talking points, but because of her voting record and her political choices and operations.  I would never dream of voting for her in the primary when there are much better choices.

It would piss me off to have to vote for the lesser of two (or possibly three) evils, but if that is the choice that has to be made, that is the choice that will have to be made.

However, that is not the OP at all, and it is so tiresome how the only rebuttal those of you who worship Bush have is to try to divert the light away from your man and attempt to make his transgressions seem less obvious by dragging up anything else to take away attention from his obvious and disastrous blunders... anything.. no matter how unrelated or irrelevant to the topic being posted.

Yeah ... the "little Johnny did it too" defense was boring the first ten-thousand times it was used, and isnt' getting any better with age.

<fast reply>

..odd how General Custer, who was apparently horribly racist and a poor tactician, seems to be some sort of folk hero..........does this explain GWB's re-election?
