Status: offline 		I love foreplay, I am probably one of the few who still does it and enjoys it, whether it be for sex or for play; that 'warm up time' is imparative for me, even if its just relaxing together or soft talking, that sorta thing or 'take your clothes off,' that whole 'preparation' for what is or may come is intoxicating and alluring as it is exciting.

The afterwards, after a scene or after sex, the cuddling or the 'cool down' is a way to reafirm our connection, especially if it was a harsh scene or intense sex.


Others thoughts. Foreplay/postplay, yea or nay? Do you do it? Hate it? Love it? Live with it or without?

Status: offline 		I love foreplay. Foreplay can be kissing, undressing sexily, touching one another slowly, oral sex on him, nipple play, a variety of things. While I'm capable of being bent over, skirt flipped up, and fucked with little to no warning, it doesn't happen in my current relationship.
As for post play, snuggling and cuddling afterwards are fabulous. We don't always have time, but most of the time we do cuddle, talk quietly, wiggle and clench the PC muscles a time or two, and kiss and say I love you. We also almost always shower together after sex, which can be its own form of post play.

absolutely, with out question...both foreplay and warmup either sexually or sessioning. and the cool down as well. I call it for sessions the pre briefing or discussion and negotiation phase...and the de briefing after the session is complete.
If sex play is involved, then foreplay definitely and after word...soft cuddling..caressing...and pillow talk.  I am a believer in pre and after....care.

Status: offline 		Both foreplay and aftercare are a big part of our "play", and have always been important in previous relationships. But then again, I've always been fairly affectionate and intimacy, on both a physical and mental level, is a big part of play for me, so the before and after are just naturally there. So yea, I/we do it, love it and live with it.

Status: offline 		'Fore' what? Isn't most BDSM activity a form of foreplay (unless there's no ensuing sex). Likewise, a D/s relationship is itself a form of foreplay- at least, to some of us. One of the beauties of kink is that you can be having sex all the time- what varies is the intensity.

Status: offline 		Depends on what we're in the mood for. There have been hours/days of foreplay and that's been wonderful. There have been time when there is little or no foreplay and that's been delightful. It's all about what we want at that particular moment...or moments, if we're talking about extended foreplay and postplay.
 
I don't think it's dead so much, as it's not required. Of course, if every time we had sex it turned into a quicky that would get old, I think. And, if He rolled over or left every single time that would get old, as well. But, He's always keeping it new and fresh, which is what keeps the sexplay alive.  
 
Life is good here...foreplay, postplay...any kind of play...life is good.

Sometimes, I like to drive a girl wild.  Tease her, get into her head, basically hypotize her into cumming a dozen or more times- leaving her babbling like a baby before even taking off my pants.  For some girls, this sort of thing can take hours.  And, you know what?  It can be a lot of fun.

But that's more the exception than the average.  A lot of nights, it's been a long day, and I just want to have normal sex.  Foreplay might be dirty talk, fingering, etc.  Maybe some handcuffs and such.  That's more the norm.

Then, on the other end, there are times when, despite needing to get off, I have better things to be doing.  Obligations, often times.  So I just want to get it over with as absolutely fast as possible.  This typically means no foreplay and the girl is rarely satisfied (may cum, but not satisfied).  Sometimes, a girl I know is like this- horny, and needs to just get off, but doesn't have the time for real sex.  It happens, and foreplay is the first casuality.

I won't deny the fact there have been times i've come in and just drop your pants and we went at it like wild animals...but the feelings that arise during foreplay tends to make having sex a lot more fun. Having postplay afterwards brings the bond closer.

Status: offline 		Foreplay is wonderful. The new boy and I consider everything we do during playtime to be foreplay, and after a few hours of it, he is *quite literally* chomping at the bit. Postplay, on the otherhand, is usualy a nap. Its not dead, its just not necessary unless there is aftercare that needs to be given.
With Angel, since we are not sexally involved, its ALL foreplay.  And going on a year of ownership, thus a year of foreplay... the sex (if it ever gets here) is going to be amazing!
