Ok, the title's a little misleading, but since many were chiming in about toys on another thread, it seems it's time for a toy discussion!

It wasn't long ago that We had a thread about what's in your toy bag.  Let's dig a little deeper.  This thread is just a bit of talk about You and Your toys, be that your favorite toy, your latest purchase, or, maybe like Me, just your love affair with toys in general.  Do you get the same kind of goosebumps when you pick up a new toy for the first time?  Do you have different loves for different toys?  Maybe you have one flogger that you just love hearing the sound it makes as it's swung in the air?  How much to you enjoy the feeling of a leather handle in your hand?  Do you appreciate the toys themselves over and above the effect they have when used on a submissive?

Let's hear all about toys!

I love my (imitation) single tail..... its so sinister looking thanks to various modifications I made to it and brings an "interesting" enough reaction even though its just a display item really. Always useful to have something in reserve as far as theyre concerned too, because of course they dont know its not real and the threat of it is immense. And the fear is all the more because its "held back".

One day I might get the real thing. But in the meantime its one heck of a psyche job for ten quid.

ooooohhhhh Lady Pact you know just how to hit a girl in the soft spot.  I'll start with rope.  I love colorful MFP and using it in any and every way I can think of to string a human being up, together, down, tight, for show...matters not.  Rope is HOT.

I have a paddle, hand made by a shop teacher for me. It is curved just so it hits the nice sweet spot at the bottom of the arse when doing an upswing.

I made two floggers myself, they are not pretty but do the job very well.  My loving husband took me to a leather company for mother's day last year so I could make my own floggers.

I love my whartenburg on steroids (have no other way to describe it). It is big and heavy and has much uglier teeth than the typical medical whartenburg. 

Violet wands I simply love and now have one of my own to enjoy. (awaiting new attachements as I type)

I have an affinity for needle and knife play.  Either Rober or I can show you those pictures if you email us on the other side.

Back to paddles...I have a handful of various kinds.  My husband purchased for me, a couple ping pong paddles...since they are the same on both sides I'm going to convert three sides....one into a vampire paddle, a side with just fur and a side with sandpaper.

I have a handful of various canes and caning implements (dowels and reflector spikes from Domme Depot)

I could go on and on and on...I love all my fun things very much....

When it comes down to it though, I really only need my brain, hands and my mouth to make a lasting impression on my VERY FAVORITE toy....Robert.

I'm just taking a quick break from studying and was racking my brain over which is my favorite toy, the various ones I own, and why they are my favorite over any other. Then it occurred to me that my favorite piece of equipment is my BRAIN. With it I can do anything I wish to someone with no more than my voice, my hands or any object I may find within a room. I do love my toys, but even if I didn't have a single one of the ones in any of my toy bags, I could still torture someone quite well just using my brain.

Back to the books...was stuck on a particular concept and needed a momentary physics free vacation. I look forward to coming back and seeing the other thoughts. Great topic Lady Pact!

Legos are the coolest toy ever invented, imho. I loved creating my Lego Dungeon. The St Andrew's Cross was the hardest, as I didn't want a large + sign. :)

As for the usual 'toys', I don't have a favorite, because I make a new set for each girl I am with. It's a cleanliness thing for me.

Thats tough because I have several favorites. I love my bison hide quirt its nice and heavy, makes a nice sound and stings beautifully. Then there is my knotted cat of nine tails which I also love to use. My colors are purple/black so I had these two custom made so that the colors match. The cat really gets my sub out into subspace and I love the sound of the tails as they cut thru the air.

I just don't seem to get the same thrill from legos as I do from leather.  Maybe it's just Me.
 
I have more than one favorite.  I love different toys for different reasons.  The purple flogger in the pic is probably the jewel of My collection for the feel of the grip and the sound it makes.  The two new canes I recently bought are fantastic for leaving little marks.  Definitely a good sting behind them.  Like Lady Ellen mentioned, My single tail is great for the "shudder" factor.  Just the sight of it brings apprehension.  My strap on is in a catagory of it's own.  A deeper (bad pun) connection with a submissive.  The toy I'm looking forward to next is a promise of a paddle being made with "Mistress (insert real name here)" carved into the handle.  My husband came up with the idea of making it for Me after We went to the munch this past weekend.
 
Of course the brain is always held over and above the physical instruments, but oh, what a wicked mind can do with what's in the toy bag!

This question is like asking a mom to pick their favorite kid! That said,  I would go with my quirt and my 4' singletail: love the sound, love the feel, love the smell of them, love the jade green and black of the braided leather (they are a matching set.) If I could find some jade and black heels to wear when I was using them, I'd be in heaven!

But not a handbag, because that would be too matchy-matchy. [;)]

I have different favorite toys for different kinds of play.

My violet wand is precious to me, and I love shopping and trying to find new metallic items that I can use with the body contact probe. The kit is pretty special and I take good care of my carrying case with it inside.

I have a bamboo cane that was cut by hand by a submissive and gifted to me. It spent months soaking in oil and over the years has developed a lovely patina. I know the dangerous of using bamboo canes but the fact that it was a gift and the amount of work I put into it makes it a favorite toy.

Recently I got one of the "crown jewels" items from Canes4Pain.com, and I treasure them because they represented a growth step in a relationship with my slave.

I have a long, stingy black flogger which was the first BDSM toy I ever purchased rather than making myself, and it is pretty special to me.

Meaning depends on the scene. I have a set of magnets and slingshot that are treasured because they were a part of a scene that I loved at a party one night.

Not the sling itself, but the metal shot for the sling. I counted them out to her as I placed each tiny little ball in her vagina. Wondering what it was you might get up to with such equipment, I thought it might be entertaining to attach the magnets to some silly males' noses and then have them race to pick up the shot from the floor with them.

When they'd finished we'd count who had the most and who had the least. The one with the most would get a number of lashes - the number of shot picked up by the one who picked the fewest. The one with the least would get the number of lashes corresponding to the number of shot picked up by the one who picked up the most.

But then, I love those sorts of silly games. Hilarious to see them at their competitive best!

I don't have a bag I have chest full of things left over from dungeons I've had through the years. REAL Metal shackles (which I love) Jay Marston braided multi-strand flogger, various Adam's whips, OWK single tails, all kinds of canes, cherrywood paddle, leather strap, riding crops, all kinds of CBT devices, way too many dildos, cuffs, body harnesses, various restraints, Custom bondage straps, blow up male doll,  the list is really long.


But next to my bed in my night table I keep... magic wand, a few nice feel-does (dildos) collar & restraints (for show), astro glide.

That sounds like a divne game! The magnets in question wouldn't fit up noses but could easily be slapped inside cheeks, for instance, to pick up shot through the cheek skin.

I'm also a notoriously bad shot (pun not intended) and incorporated my poor aim into a lovely game. Clover clamps on nipples, magnets on clover clamps...and then lazily lob metal shot towards the magnets. The sub never knows if it will hit a testicle, drop on a toe, or catch that pesky magnet and increase the weight dangling from the nipple...

My favourite toy is always the one I acquired most recently - which happens to be a pyrex glass dildo. After it's been in the freezer it feels as though it's burning - a great mind fuck, evil snicker. I get bored playing the same games the same way, so something new always inspires me. After it's been "retired" for a while, I can re discover an old toy all over again, and that's fun too (thinking of the ultra heavy shackles that I've just dredged out - REAL slave gear!)
