As the internet grows so do all aspects of this lifestyle. I am thankful for all the face to face meetings and or play that alt, bondage, and collar have provided.. I AM ONE LUCKY DOM !!!!

It was collarme that helped my find a FANTASTIC girl, kali is my property and I am her PROUD OWNER. TY collarme.

Now, the bad news, why sooooo many fake girl profiles..........am I the only dom who gets hit on by them.?! I am sure I have scared a few REAL girls off with my agressive manners about finding out if they are real...........sorry, but so far I have been lucky, or have I missed the REAL one who WE are looking for by doing so?

How do you separate the good from the bad, without missing the real one.

Fakes are fakes, REGARDLESS of what station they are. Top, bottom, switch, or whatever. A fake is a fake.

I do not live on the net as many in this lifestyle do....what do you look for in spotting a fraud?

I tend to operate under the assumption that the good will recognize and understand the need for caution. It probably doesn't completely work that way but i think it's the safest way to go. I still can't figure out how i found the Dom i am training under now. It seems so unreal that out of the masses of people i've encountered here and the number of emails i've left unanswered or responded negatively to that we managed to connect. I've decided it's just a leap of faith. You will run across many fakes on here because that's the hazards of the internet but i tend to just trust my gut feeling. If i think someone is fake then they probably are. I might have missed a few real connections because of that but i feel like i'm doing pretty well so far.

what sort of response do you get when you send a message?  can the person provide pictures if there are none in the profile, does the person look like a catalog photo if they do?

talk to them...real people can sustain a conversation.  ask about experience.  ask questions about their lives.

i didnt have a whole lot of heavy BDSM experience, because my two former masters preferred me as a spoilt pet, and while my husband enjoys me waiting on him, he doesnt dominate at all.  its still a learning process, and i am still learning to please Sir.

I agree, but I want skill to factor in, not only luck, faith. I did get lucky with kali however. She ( I guess most girls do also) got, gets TONS on emails everywhere her name is posted. Some how we connected.

I get a lot of requests for web cam.  I don't have one, nor do I intend to get one any time soon.  To me, when someone asks for it, I feel like they are just looking for jerking off material and I don't care to provide it.

I think I have been contacted by some "fakes".  How do I make the judgement?  Their profile says nothing and they have been members for a while.  Their email to me to me reads like what seems to be from a "Domming for Dummies" book.  When asked a couple of questions about themselves, they get pissy and insult me.  These people could be very real, but these are signs that tell me they aren't appropriate for me.

Experience. I've been on cm for over 4 years, this profile for about 3 1/2 yrs, so I have learned how to spot fakes, as best I can. Its a crap shoot at times to find a nonfake, other times its like a waterfall of nonfakes.

For a dom it is different on the replies and or the email that are sent to me first from girls on cm. My "the perfect profile" posts are from all the STUPID emails that dom's send to my property or others that I know.

I forgot about the web cam, yes if you ask for one they usually think you are looking for a quick web sex. Now I never ask.

Since you asked for Dom input…smile. In your posts you say most women you email with on CM are fake subs. What are your criteria for determining they are fake? Do they pass over the fake wall into Never, Never land when they say they are not interesting in meeting you for some play time? So let’s get to the reason they don’t want to meet you since this seems to be what makes them fakes.

You say you are aggressive and don’t have lots of time for internet things and this could be what shows when the girl says no thanks to you. I mean CM is an internet medium. Wouldn’t you expect someone on here to want to email and chat to get to know you? Possibly, the girls are real, but turned off by your lack of ability or willingness to communicate online. Of course, as surprising as this may be to you, some simply may not like you once they get to know you. Hey, it happens to all of us sometimes. What you consider fake may be someone's real.
Men often complain that there are men posing as women on-line.  It's a game, nothing more.
Do you webcam and voice verify?  You should do both of those before getting excited over a woman who is really a man.
