Mercnbeth -> RE: Paris Hilton Released After Just 3 Days in Jail (6/7/2007 9:32:12 AM)

She was credited for 5 days. She received credit for Sunday, she got there at 11:45PM through Thursday (today), she left the prison at 12:01 AM. She has a Versace designed, jewel encrusted ankle bracelet that will track her confinement restricting her to her 12,000 square foot residence. Where she will serve her full "sentence", extended from to 45 days (40 remaining).

You just don't know the restricting she must suffer:
  • Pool will only be heated to 80 degrees
  • One hour/day limit on Jacuzzi time
  • 5 man/10 woman limit to conjugal visits (No more than 3 at any one time!)
  • Must wear only orange striped bathing suit (top optional)
  • Only wine coolers, beer, and Smirnoff Ice permitted - NO liqueur exceeding 40 proof.
  • Only domestic champagne permitted
  • No tanning bed usage - Tanning outside in sun permitted, limited to 12 hours per day

I think there will be more criteria released. Stay tuned, feel free to add them if you see them first.

When jail officials were asked if other inmates would be released if they came down with the rash, their response was "Yes". Yeah right!!!!

TMZ is reporting that her "condition" was not medical at all.  She just didn't like being in jail:

"Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Paris Hilton's medical condition was purely psychological and that she was in peril of having a nervous breakdown, and that's why she was released early this morning. Psychiatrist Charles Sophy visited Hilton in jail yesterday and the day before. We're told after Sophy's visit yesterday, word was passed to the Sheriff that Hilton's mental state was fragile and she was at risk. The reason for releasing her had nothing to do with a rash or other physical issues. It was purely in her head."

Yay! I'm sooo happy my girl is free! Really, anyone who has horrible shit to say about her is just jealous of her money.

That's what I heard, also.  She only had 3 blankets and no pillow, so she had to use one of the blankets as a pillow.  That might be in the link you posted...sorry, I didn't read it.
Well, I expected nothing less, and I am surprised she lasted as long as she did.

If thats true, I should be speechless. My brother was a prison officer, my cousin still is one. My ex brother in law is one. One of my friends was a prison officer for a while in the army.

Every one of them tells tales of prisoners crying their eyes out like babies at night, when that door slams shut. I somehow dont think anyone else gets let out 'cause theyre upset?

FFS, its meant to be upsetting I thought? its meant to be that people are deterred from crime because the incarceration is unpleasant?

Lee Baca isn't the best example of a "public servant."  His numerous scandals have included a "special reserves" program, where celebs and rich campaign donors could be given a badge and a carry concealed weapons permit.  Baca is notoriously stingy when it comes to ccw permits for the lowly masses.

He's also committed to scientology.

Edit to add:

It's not like paris killed anyone, or even hurt anyone,  I am NOT a paris hilton fan but I do believe they really came down to hard on her!

agoodboy -> RE: Paris Hilton Released After Just 3 Days in Jail (6/7/2007 1:32:53 PM)

I was actually giving her credit for facing the music. But I guess she's just the spolied little slut I always thought she was. But I'm not want of those people who think the government and judicial system are for sale. Once something is bought and paid for, it's no longer for sale.
