I do understand what you are saying.  We looked for a slave in our state for a 2 years, but we didnt find one that 'fit' with us.  We met our wildflower on this site.. and low and behold... she lives in southern Cali and we are in Wa state.  But hay... we found her.  We are now working on her relocation.

My first Dom was seven hours away.  A brilliant experience for me, but distance defeated the relationship (neither of us could relocate).  After that I made it a personal rule to search closer to home - and I've been very successful.  There's good ones everywhere, you just have to take the time to find them.

I don't. I refuse to consider any one who's not local, or with in 2 hours away, but  i am seriously rethinking the 2 hour part, if I ever have to seek again. Which I am hoping I won't ever need to.

Sorry, but the submissive of your dreams may be right beneath your nose.  If you limit your world to those you find on line, you have limited yourself to all those not on line in your own back yard.  Master found me in the grocery line, he had been on CM for years, but the local market is where we met and started a friendship.  Open your eyes, lift up your head and look around, you may be surprised at what you find.

Hartford (rather Springfield Ma) has an active scene.  Period.  Unless i wanted to drive 90 mins in any direction, CT offered NOTHING as far as a scene goes.  (Unless something has happened that i am unaware of in the last 18 months)

I'm trying to grow one in my back yard. Grow 'im tall and hide him in a cornfield like pot.

so, yes, would prefer to find one in my back yard, but the likelyhood is nil to nil. Foreign countries are a negative.  So back to gardening.

I think a lot depends on ones particular geographical kink-level, When I was in Florida, plenty of kink-aware/friendly types on the local level, with a more sexually-express general population (not to mention shear numbers). Now, living in the proverbial buckle of the bible belt, it's a much more reserved culture, hense, far less local kinksters. But it only takes the one special one for most, so I live in hope.

Master had been trying to get me interested in meeting him since January of this year. I had a lot of different reasons that I didnt want to meet him, but i finally did. And the rest is as they say "history". I am in Masters own backyard so to speak, only 4 miles away from each other.

I am not sure where you got the idea that ‘all’ submissives do this.  I set my search parameters so that only local people show up.

I rarely go into chat rooms so I do not run into the problem of talking with people who live far away.  Once again may I suggest setting your search parameters on CM so that only people who live near you will show.

I suggest meeting at a munch or going for a coffee somewhere and haven’t had any problems …this includes situations where I am approached or I approach others.  Are you contacting women who tell you that they are not looking or possibly are not interested in you and are unsure how to tell you this?  Could you look more closely at your approach and set up your search criteria again if you are finding that ‘all’ of the submissives you contact are for whatever reason unavailable.

I bet you know my answer… once again I will say that my experience is different to yours and that my answer is no…however you may find that you receive different answers if you address this question to males.

From reading your posts on CM for the past few weeks it sounds like you have some other difficulties in your life and it may be helpful to focus on those for the moment. It sounds like you are quite frustrated in your search for a submissive, maybe having some time out will give you a chance to focus on what you are looking for and the qualities that you have to offer.

alright, i am just gonna answer, last time i did this it bit me in the butt. i cant answer for ALL s type personages, just myself. i would adore to meet someone in my own backyard. it would really lessen the chance of me hauling back across the country. shoot i do all i can to not go to miami, but imagine, they rarely wanna come this way. no clue why? think it is a domly thing. notice i didnt say all.

biggest reason i notice for not meeting is the lack of compatibility. the sooner the meet happens, the better off things are, well normally.

I found Master here (as you all must be tired of hearing) and He lives 30 miles from me. I see Him at least twice a week AND we are compatible vanilla-wise as well. So, to the "all" asking OP- Naa-naa-na-naa-naa.
