I found this website that I am very upset about right now. Its called I Hate Young People. It pretty much shows older people ranting and raving about what they hate about young people. http://ihateyoungpeople.com/index.html I think that this site is completely absurd. I Hate Young People: Do you agree with these people or disagree with these people?

I don't hate young people but some of them could sure take a minute out of their day to get a sense of humour (same goes for some old farts here too). Kids have been bitching about old farts and vice versa ever since we managed to sustain more than two adjacent generations in one tribe. "When I was a kid we had to make fire the good old way, rubbing sticks together, not with these new fangled flints..." It's a funny site and has contrary opinions from young folks too. It's a tongue in cheek dialogue. Relax folks - welcome to the yntarnet! Z.

I don't hate young people. I LOVE young people! Especially if they are prepared properly (they taste like chicken) "Young people talk about the future because they have no past. Old people talk about the past because they have no future". It's just sad to see the young make the same mistakes we made in our pasts.

I am so wonderful I couldnt possibly hate anyone BUT Many young people are arrogant, loud, dont know much, think they know lots, attention seeking, violent, cant take their drink,insecure which they try to hide with a totally transparent bravado, horny, no sense of self deprecation, think only after they graced the world with their presence has anything of significance occured and generally a pain in the arse ! Oh yes they are !!!!!

I hate all people depending on my mood at a particular time. I think if you live in a city you tend to end up like this sooner or later as you are faced with more and more people and struggle to find some space for yourself. Not all young people are the same but I think when in groups they all tend to act the same. Meanwhile groups of old people compare and contrast themselves at a younger age even though they were part of a different society. No one made the youth of today the way they are today but the youth of yesterday.

I have not read the website, but I am a nurse, and I recall dealing with POOPs..... Pissed Off Old People. These were folks who had lived a very long life, and apparently were NOT happy about it. Yes, old age certainly brings its share of aches and pains and losses, and as I see the middle mile marker of my own life disappearing in the dust in my rearview mirror, I understand more and more about these drawbacks. But no reason for anyone to take that out on others, just because they are younger. I have often heard the old saying, "Youth is wasted on the young", and while I feel that very often is true, as a nurse, I came up with another saying of my own.... "Sometimes, life is wasted on the living." Everyone should either appreciate the value of the time they have been gifted with......or move on and see what's next.

Well personally.. I have 2 young people living in my home. And I think they're a trip. I love to sit back and watch them growing up... exploring life... learning new things daily. I hurt when they hurt, laugh when they laugh. And yes get pissy when they don't do what I tell them to do. So I didn't even look at the link.... I just answered .... No... I disagree on hating young people. You can learn alot of things from them... just as you can when you sit by and listen..and watch.. the older people as well.
