Well not doing bad, given out of the entire thread My profile only has ONE of the 'trends' in it (And given the length of My profile I don't think thats too bad *g*, the "Not looking for a doormat", but at least I go on to describe what I mean and what I AM looking for :)

The trend that usualy has Me moving onto the next profile rather than bothering to respond is the "I'm so submissive, but here is a whole shoppinglist of hoops I expect you to jump through"... as if!

At least I read part of those, which is more than anthing heavy on TXTSPK gets!

We are always enamoured with profiles that tell us how a sub or slave will do anything to have a life of 24/7 M/s and when contact is made and a small request for things like preparing a bio or other writing assignment is made they never write back.... we assume the rush of masturbation is over and their interest wanes.

What I can't handle is all the pictures of the "happy couples" who have found each other but still hang out to keep up with friends.

That's fine....but find a room for the romantic kissy stuff.

This is a site filled with people looking---sometimes Longing---to find companionship.  To see kissy couples just rubs in the loneliness.

(Or I guess I could try to look on the *bright side* and say that it should give us *Hope* that we can find that kind of happiness....hmmmm, am I feeling that Pollyanna today?)

*Bright Blessings*

I always like to read the different profiles on Collarme, and since i'm a female sub, it's usually the Male Dominant ones that I look at the most.  Have you ever noticed that there are some things that lots of people will say, such as...

1.  "I'm not like other Doms.  I'm different."       or...

2.  "I'm a nice guy, but don't mistake it for weakness."

Well after reading this it seems that I have fallen into the trap of thinking that I had written a fairly unique profile but I have just recycled the same old shit thats been going round for ages. So such is life.

You would be amazed the number of times I hear this in the course of a day.
Here is an example:

"Master asked this girl to search for a chain sister.  this girl has read many of your posts and has shown them to her Master.  W/we agree that you are the perfect person to contact about this.  Do you know any cute slave girls that would fit into our home?"

I make fun of every stereotype I could think of in my profile and now the only challenge for prospectives is to discern truth from fiction.

well wishes ~ fairer

Some ppl have so many mis-spelling in their profile you can't even make out what some sentences mean. It's crazy. I feel like these people never even bothered to look over what they wrote. Ever. Never. It's crazy. Even some people have mis-spellings in their own friggin name. Worthless.

I just love the profiles that say that you must be local or able to relocate, and no LDRs, but they fail to give their location other than the state (and I don't mean state of mind) they are in.  It's my own person pet peeve, but I no longer own pets, so I guess I am just peeved.

So given everything coming out in this thread (and coupled with the fact that I'm both very new to all this and haven't gotten any interest from my profile), any chance I could ask that it be critiqued?

"i want a sub to have and to obay me we will set the rales and thay will be keeped"

I think spelling has to be my what pushes my buttons, this one was my favorite, and yes it was a real profile.

Also the "real Doms"

I am certain that your quote was taken directly from the Bible.

Oh, jeez, I see you're in California -- same thing down here in TX. I realize many people never leave their hometown, but they still should know from 7th grade geography that these states are larger than many countries!

My favorite was one recently here in TX that had nothing but the state and she even said in her profile that she'd immediately delete any messages asking where in TX she lived, since she was trying to be safe. We don't need your street address, but it would sure be handy if you could narrow it down to a couple thousand square miles!

I even find that with people from the UK as well.  I don't want to know their exact address just wnat county thery are in and maybe the town or city.  Its just so I don't waste my time getting to know somone and then find that hey live at the other end of the country.

Yeah, I've ranted about the same thing before, and 'ya know what I usually get?  Women who say that they have been harassed and stalked, so they are being very careful not to give out their location.  But then there is no photo of them, and of course their sceen name isn't their real name.

Texas is the largest state per square mile than any other, and California my come in second or third.  But even if we had an idea her general location, it would help us to decide whether it was even practical to make the trip to wherever they are.

Ditto on the texas thing! People don't seem to realize that it takes 8 fricking hours to drive across the state! If Person A is in Houston and person B is in Gainesville, that's one hellacious drive.

True, but at least you are in the same state.
