Isn't it amazing how many great sounding subs go "poof" when given the opportunity to fulfill their fantasy? I guess they love the fantasy better than the possibility that it might not be what they seek after all. Me? I'd rather know and be disappointed than go to my deathbed wondering...

Honesty and obedinence come to mind immediately. Cute is ok but alas it is just a wrapper its what is on the inside of the candy sub that counts.

If he isn't honest or obedient he is of no use to me.

I forgot the name of the comedian, Jon something who was the devil on Saturday Night Live. When women were asked what they wanted and a few said someone funny. He said, I am funny...

Honesty, Loyalty, Obedience, Intelligence, sense of humor I think there are some other things, be honest.

Speaking as a sub, I think being honest, obedience, truthful, intelligence and having a sense of humor. LadyHeart wrote one who shows up. If you spend some time to get to know someone on the internet and decide to meet them in person, you should go ahead and meet with them. I would go ahead and meet with her even if I was a little afraid. I probably would find that we are quite compatible.

For me the most important servile trait is eagerness to serve as I desire.

This is, of course, long after we've talked, met, there's been a formal application and a formal training process. It is during that minimum 3 month training period that I can truly gauge what drives their service.

i can only speak as a sub, but would think that with one major exception,
most of the qualities that a Domme would seek in Her slave would be
pretty much what a woman would want in any relationship, starting with honesty.
If a relationship is not truthful, you have nothing!
The MAJOR ingredient in a D/s relationship that is not in other relationships
is the "total obedience" that a Domme would require of Her property.
There is no middle ground in a D/s relationship. If a slave is not capabable
of turning over complete control, it could work for some, but it is not a 100% D/s relationship, in my view. And, while there is almost total focus here on the
sexual aspects of a D/s relationship, a Domme would look for the heart of a slave, his/her need to serve in any capacity as being paramount.

lol- its true. I have 3 dogs and they all need to get walked. Open a pet sitting business on the side. Get in shape and make a few extra bucks to spend on your mistress. Then you have it all.

I place my slaves in training on a strict diet. They are not permitted to smoke or drink. I want them to be the best that they can be so they can be that for me. I actually have "The Essential 10" list and I would post it but I am really not in the mood for all the flames and crap over something that is very real for me and part of my lifestyle. Sounds more like a Master/slave relationship to me.

I'd have to say the hardest one getting used to had to have been the givimg up of smoking. In a job where 75% of Marines smoke its hard as hell to give up due to all the cravings on a 24/7 basis but have gone a month with only one hic-up and smoked 3 cig's inbetween i feel I accomplished alot.

Never had a Master but you are probably correct.

I would think a Master would be looking for about the same qualities in His slave as a Mistress would be looking for...honesty, obedience, intelligence, desire to serve totally...etc

All of the above of course but I also want a lot more.
He has to be as good if not better than me at most things.
I'm very competitive but I don't like to win too easily.
And a very quick learner at the things I can do that he has never tried before.
Rich would be nice because I'm broke.
Generous but not stupid.
Looks are not as important as body shape.
And of course he has to let me do anything to him that I want to.
So Mr Alround Pefect.

Well you where right, he said his funds have dwindled and he cant meet with me, a foot sub, who has never met in this way before, so I told him he will take me to the flicks and I will watch a movie with my feet in his face! Why arrange to meet if you know you have no possible way of doing it, then ohhh and then he had the cheek to say he expected me to understand!!! *Shrugs*

Well I now have a boring evening tomorrow... Pout, bring on the next one...

Also to Dom69, I think that is your name.... Subs, where are they all? I only want one. Think this might be a new forum...
