Hello and thank You for looking at my thread to all the Dommes, Mistresses, Madames, and Goddesses out there reading my humble post. I figured i would try to get a discussion going on so here is the question i pose to all of You; What in a slave is most important to You, is it physical qualities of some sort, a certain personality, honesty perhaps, or is it a strong trust base. I'm curious to see what Your answers will be so please be open and honest, to each their own.

Being cute physically is always a plus, but if the personality is there, the physical attraction will follow.  We want someone who is compatable with us in lifestyle (vanilla and D/s) and that we genuinely like.  That includes things like having common interests, common kinks, being able to communicate openly and honestly, etc.  Animal lovers are a requirement for us as well - people who are allergic to animals need not apply ...

To me everything is based on honesty, without that you have nothing.

Honesty, loyalty, a sense of humor and the ability to carry on a conversation.  I want someone with a descent sense of self and the ability to think on his own and not need to be micromanaged. We have got to have enough in common to enjoy ourselves outside the house, too.  I want a partner, not just a slave.  I have been very lucky, I have managed to find 2 that are both very compatible with me.  They are very different from one another, but they are both fantastic with me.

I would have to say honesty as well.  It's My personal belief that without honesty, there is no trust.  How do you trust a dishonest person?  Physical attraction is important to a degree.  Afterall, this is someone I would intend to be intimate with.  For physical traits, one thing I readily admit to is that I have a preference regarding the length of their hair.  As far as personality, I do admit that I have a soft spot for a sense of humor.  Certain character traits, integrity, loyalty. eagerness to learn, must always be present.

Ive tried the A plan B plan right through to Y plan. The G plan didnt work but i have got some nice furniture. If the Z plan fails then i am done for..... Its down to Jamie Oliver and healty eating... sighs

Diets haven't worked for me either, politesub - perhaps you should get a dog ... that's my current weight loss plan - taking the dog for a drag each night LOL (I'm kidding, one dog does still need to be trained, but the other walks just fine and that's the one I'm getting ready to go out with).

My treadmill works for me, I love it, use it twice a day, and still eat as much as possible!!  But yet I enjoy using it!!!

Honesty, loyalty and obedience are up there in the top five traits...but after I thought about this a while, I'd have to say intelligence won out over all. And of course he should have some useful skills...and enjoy the kind of play I enjoy...and oh, yeah...then there's the looks issue. And I'm just assuming he's gainfully employed.
