Hmmm. I would have to say the top of my list is honesty, integrity, and the inborn desire to serve. Intelligence, wit and the ability to have an intellectual conversation on subjects kinky or vanilla comes second. A sense of humor is quite helpful since I'm usually pretty sarcastic. Looks are fine in the beginning but there has to be a brain behind that pretty face if they are going to get anywhere with me. Those are the things that attract me to someone. What keeps me interested are shared commonalities within and outside of BDSM.

Honesty, compatability, communication, personality. Wether or not they have kids is their business, but no children on tow, but must like them as I do have 3 of my own(all on their own) and a granchild. My days of raising kids is over and I doubt my nerves could handle small ones any more for to long periods of time. After 2 days, i'm ready to send my granchild home to mommy. [8D] Slave would need to have a strong desire to please and a willingness to learn. While they don't have to love them they must at least like animals. I have had animals my whole life and am not about to give them up. A sense of humor and intelligence is good to.

A sense of self, intelligence and a sense of humor. The first is needed so that they are truly able to serve someone else IMO. The other two are needed to be able to understand me and my needs, without them we won't click.

One who doesn't start out by telling me what HE wants. They seem to expect I am taking dictation so "we" can cross off all his items as we "experience" them all. "Together". I'm not actually trying to meet anyone any more. It's nicer this way. I was really getting peeved off before.
