1) Fire. Thought I'd love it but just doesn't work for me. I love topping with fire though.

2) Masks. Thought I'd hate that feeling and smell, but the bondage and objectification aspect just rings really deep inside

I really haven't found anything that I didn't like, but there are still a couple of things to come (watersports) being the big one.

I am pretty open to pain and things like that and I love to experience new sensations, so there wasn't anything I thought I would hate. I think I would hate fire and electricity, but we haven't ever done those things for that reason.

Well since Master has not brokin my hard limits ...
For me it was something i used to like now i do not it's blindfolds, I like to see my Masters face .

Something i NEVER though i would like but i was prepared to do it for Master is anal. I never though i would like it now though i love it. I think it depends on how it is done and who is doing it.

It's funny how many people bring up wax. I had thought it would be boring as hell, instead I loved it. Unfortunately he found it pretty boring so it isn't something we do with any frequency. Maybe I should beg for it?

Humiliation was something I assumed I could handle. Wrong again, it put me into a very bad place.

Littleone35 must have it right.
It depends on how it's done and who's doing it.
Ok subs all have something that freaks them out, that they just can't stand, no matter how much they want to do it for their master or Mistress but apart from those things surely it must be all about how you feel about your BDSM partner. D/s or not.

So far there's nothing that I've really hated.

And I was always terrified of crops and canes. Now the crop is my favourite thing. I'm still terrified of the cane, but I love the thrill of that fear and the absolute rush afterwards.

Heres a strange observation I've made.... in previous threads hard limits were thing that a master should not inflict on their slave (or a dom on their sub) but on this thread a few of you have said something that once was a hard limit is now something you enjoy.

If a hard limit is something that should never be done to or with you then how did you find out???

This is not meant as an argumentative point but to open up a discussion on how you decided to cross the line... did you know it would be ok???

There are several things I thought I would not like at all, or was even phobic about, or never envisioned myself ever doing, but coming from him they take on an entirely different meaning.

The only thing that really surprised me was my intense anxiety-laden reaction to being closely confined or wrapped up tightly (cellophane). I didn't realize just how awful I would find it. Of all the things he's done to me, this was my most difficult reaction.

The only thing i used to hate that now i love would be needles...had a bad experience once and swore them off...never again...but now i LOVE it. There is also, along the same lines, piercings...i've got my nipples done, thought that would be it, didn't think i would really like it...now am planning on getting hood and labia done soon.

One thing i will say to those that have a problem with the wax play.....we use the paraffin that is used for hand softening....put it in one of those older metal crockpots that has the adjustable temperature knob....we just keep the temp turned down so it's just enough to melt it well, doesn't have that "OMG OUCH" burning sensation that way..then He uses a small metal ladle and can pour it over whatever area he's wanting to cover and uses a knife to scrape it off....

I seem to be joining a lot of people here in stating that I hate hot wax. Thought I would love it, but........owwwww. Its funny, though, that I LOVE fire play!

thinks I thought I would hate, wells till dont like it, buts powerful to me, thus beneficial. Enemas. My first few I screamed and cried and tried to crawl away. The humiliation of it was awful. I do respond though.

In every case where I changed a hard limit, it was my initiative to do it. I always had a huge no on canes, but there was some fascination there. Finally I got one, and discussed it with my Dom. He was very careful to bring me along slowly - he's very tuned to my reactions. Sometimes I'm begging for more, but he calls a halt because he feels I've had enough. Knowing he takes that sort of care means I feel free to experiment.
