unless it's something that you know displeases your Master, why be disappointed that your pain tolerance has decreased, even significantly? in my case, my pain tolerance has always been very low. all it takes is one lash of the belt for my eyes to water. a firm spanking will have me biting my lower lip until it bleeds. i'm just a big ol' pain punk. however this doesn't effect my Master's enjoyment/fulfillment in subjecting me to pain, in fact it enhances it a bit since he doesn't have to work as hard to get the desired effect. when he wants to make me suffer as an outlet of his own tension, or even if he just wants to sadistically delight in my torment, i can serve him in this way just as well and in many cases better than a "pain slut" since my threshold is low.
