this one's first was 22 years older....and Master is 7 years older....
this one feels that the bonding would be due to the experience level of both for such completeness.

Good morning,
i am sorry Chia for hijacking your thread, i just didn't look in the right threads :(.

Dear grlneedstolearn,

Oh no luv, you didn't hijack anything! You started your own post to the subject,
i don't own the topic by an means! Subjects are re-introduced all the time, a
good thing overall, that fresh faces and ideas can be exchanged. So turn that
frown upside down, post as you wish when you wish, that's a good thing.

Respectfully, chia* (the pet)

I think and I may be shot out of the air for this, but an older Dom demands more respect.....But as I say that is my own personal opinion and not cast in stone.

I don't know what is is i have always liked older men.  I think it is the maturity and patience and yes experience that they have.  I am 37 my first dom was 58 and my Master is older than me by more then a few years.  Guys my age or younger just don't do it for me like an older man can.  That is just a personal perfrence.

phoenixxy -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/23/2007 12:10:58 PM)

My Dom is 10 years older than me, for me it is just who i get on with, the people that interest me, these tend to be older people. Cant help who you fall for!!

PhDslave -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/23/2007 2:00:30 PM)

Since i'm  looking for a stable, longlasting relationship, statistically the better bet would be to focus on straight Women who are in their late forties, fifties and sixties - just like the vanillas.  That doesn't mean that someone much younger or bi/lesbian couldn't enter into and sustain a solid relationship, just that the odds favor the former criteria.

grlneedstolearn -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/23/2007 8:11:33 PM)

Thank you Chia, i'm glad that i didn't hijack your thread :). Doms/Dommes that are 10 years older and no more i can even deal with. But what about the Dom/Dommes that are more than 10 years older than you? Say 15 yrs on up? Why choose them? Though i see nothing wrong with that since i'm 23 and my Dom is 40, but still....

YourShyPet -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/23/2007 8:23:38 PM)

I've always been attracted to people older than me... whether it was dating... or friendship... I've always been attracted to older males... specifically males in their 40's... I'm not really sure why I seem most attracted to that age range... but since I started actually dating males in my early 20's... it's never been a problem ... least not a problem finding dates LOL..... My Daddy is 12 years my senior... and I was attracted to him at first for many reasons, but that he was nearly in his 40's was one of the major attractions for me... I didn't choose him to be my Daddy because of his age... it just happened that way.

Troubledangil -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 12:02:30 AM)

My Master is 20+ years older than I. When I first met the man who has become my Master, I was not physically attracted to him instantly, which makes me giggle when I think back. He however did have a very powerful presence in a roomful of people. His broad shoulders, boyish grin, infectious laughter & a twinkle in his eyes that could not be denied. He seemed very knowledgeable about a variety of subjects, which intrigued me greatly! There was something about him in our breif converstion that night that made me "want" to know him, almost like I was being pulled in. Long story made short..... that was a few years ago.... now I cannot imagine my life without him in it! So I guess what I what I am trying to say is somethings don't need to be figured out, understood or explained. If you are happy in your relationship....ENJOY IT!

becca333 -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 2:02:57 AM)

My first Dom was more than 10 years younger than me (I was a late starter).  I thought the age thing was a problem.  He didn't.

He was right.

He was pure Dom, absolutely brilliant, and I was so fortunate to have been with him.

Don't ever see a number and turn a person down because of it - you might miss something wonderful.

peterK50 -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 5:34:57 AM)

I love older Dom/mes, but in my experience nursing homes have lousy dungeons & they don't let them play after 9 pm.

GhitaAmati -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 6:10:32 AM)

I think all if my Sirs have been older than me...some by only a few years, others a bit farther apart in age. I don't know if that was a consious decision, or just something that happened because those were the people I felt most compatible with. My husband, whom I have been with for 3 years, is 18 years older than me. Truth is, when I first met him, I didnt realize he was that much older than me, he looks about 10 years younger than he really is. He was the first man I have ever asked out myself...never knew I had the courage for that but Im glad I did. He is vanilla, so I cant say anything about him being an older Dom...but Im a mother of three, I look around at people my own age and they are still partying every night and havent grown up yet. There is something more conforting about being with someone who has already gotten all that out of his system.

The responses do make sense yes, does this also apply if the Dom looks much older than he really is?

From the responses you've gotten so far, the way he looks seems to be a moot point, yes?

MamaDomme -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 7:21:59 AM)

Chia,
You are fabulous!  I love that post!!!

maledave7 -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 4:42:05 PM)

I would prefer to find an older Domme. Most of my life I found it easier to talk to an older woman. It takes me a little time to get to know her. She seems to take an interest in me more than a younger woman. I feel that she knows whom she is and where she is going in life. I find that to be so interesting and sexy.

Yes i can agree with you

Einzelganger -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/25/2007 9:13:01 PM)

I don't look for a physical age; I look for a mental age, so to speak.  I'm simply seeking a woman who's mature, intelligent, and is past the mind games.  Most younger people I meet don't seem to think that a lasting relationship is within their grasp, so they settle for less, thinking it's only going to be temporary.

I'm picky, I suppose.  I want a mature woman...not a girl, a woman...who knows what she wants, isn't afraid to ask for it, and doesn't settle for me if I'm less than ideal for her.  Her physical age means little to me so long as she's 18, but I find more women around 30 that exude these traits than women my age.  So, it's not really a preference, but a trend.

As always, just my $0.02...

i am personally more attracted to older Women. It may be that i relate that to being more confident. Not sure bout that one. x

grlneedstolearn -> RE: Older Doms/Dommes? (6/27/2007 1:39:17 PM)

It is always good to hear about why people choose older Dom/Domme(s) when going about this type of relationship
