Zuchini!? Ack! My favorite zuchini story comes from a time we were at a Japanese steakhouse, where the cook prepares the meal on the giant griddle in front of you. He chopped up this and that, and as he did, he would say sweet and sour pork from TaiPei, and this and this from another place, and here this is from Okinawa. Well I don't care for squash or zuchini, but he had both on the platter, whole, and began to chop, the squash first, then the zuchini, and he said, "Now for the squash and zuchini from Winn Dixie." We all laughed so hard our eyes were watery. He had been so serious, then out of the blue, a small joke, said just the same as the other words had been, but not the same. It was great. And I still didn't eat the zuchini, but it made it fun. Karyn
