Yes, the 22nd Amendment says he can only be elected President twice. But couldn't he be elected Vice-President and then have the President step down?

Bill would be good for the country.

No more Bill, please. I honestly don't think we should allow relections either. At all. We just have the same people getting all buddy buddy and comfy in goverment which seems to just evolve into their lives. Just no to poltical families, and away with career polticians. Maybe it'd be more fair if you couldn't have term after term, like you have to wait 4 years before running again. We're supposed to be represented by these people, and it just seems like their whole goal in life is to keep themselves in office.

I guess I long for people like Washington, who stepped up to be president only because we needed one, or Truman, who didn't fear to say just what the hell he felt. At least Nixon had the decency to leave once he'd fouled up. I guess to me it just feels like we've given up control to our collective elites, the Bushes and Kennedy's raised and bred to look pretty on TV, say the right thing at the right time, love God when it's popular, praise the flag when the numbers say it's a good thing, burn it when the numbers say otherwise.

Bill did far better for this country than Bush has or ever will. I'd love to see someone like him in office. I don't want him however. If he managed to get back in that means that that moron Bush would have a chance at yet another four years of fucking us over with a very long, very spiked dildo. Your (general your) grandchildren get to pay the hefty price of Bush's war.

And for the record I think Bush is a highly unattractive person. Pretty on t.v.? Pft. I'd be quite pleased if I never saw his face again. Then again, that could just be my reflection on just about everything he stands for. I wish he'd choked on the damned pretzel... choked himself six feet under.

They both suck though. Clinton got up in front of the American people and lied to us. And not about national security, or somthing that would endanger people but because he screwed up and didn't want to own up to it. The impeachment was way overboard for such an act, but I didn't like seeing our country become a laughing stock because he was unable to keep it in his pants. I'm not going to go into Bush, as ya'll already have a lengthy list of complaints against him.

Bush isn't going to win any awards for attractiveness, but he loves jebus, rides horses, smiles at the right times and has a few hundred people who's sole point in life is telling him when to do those things. It'd be nice to have a president who isn't scripted, that can stand on the strength of who they are, rather than what the spin doctors tell them to be.

As an aside, has anyone seen Kerry's college yearbook photo? Very, very disturbing stuff.

We were ready for Hillary back in 92 and 96. That's why Clinton was elected for we knew who was really calling the shots.

I'm ready to see Hillary run. But seeing her win would be a shock considering her past statements in speeches as well as the new image that Howard Dean is painting for the Democratic Party with his past statements about the Republicans.

For once, I'd like to see a polititian admit that instead of just one party being evil, that all politicians have atleast a few skeletons in the closet.

As it stands, Rice, Juliani, and Bucanan would beat Hillary in a 2008 election. Besides, who would be Hillary's running mate? Sad enough for the Democratic Party, Hillary is still there best bet to win a presidentcy and her odds aren't that good when it comes to the majority of the USA voting on the issue.

I'm definitely all for Hillary. I don't care to be honest about her politics or her experience. If she runs, I have already said I'm going to work on her campaign. Also, I'm all for a woman president in general. There are many, many countries around the world with women leaders who are successful... America is such an "advanced" country and yet we can't perceive of a woman being in authority...? What's up with that. And also, you know that if Hillary ran, Bill would be helping her to lead. I believe that happened the first time, too.

I would vote for a woman as opposed to a man on almost any political platform. I'm sorry, but I feel that America is FAR beyond ready for a female president who can approach things a little differently. The only way I would not vote for a woman would be if she were very, very conservative. Even as a bleeding-heart liberal, I would vote for a conservative woman president as opposed to a very liberal man.

Just my 2 cents.

We're too busy making jokes about who a woman president would invade while she had PMS so we (quite naturally) put an asshole fratboy in charge.

It all makes sense if you think about it for a while...

That's because Catholics from Mexico don't like gays, generally, and will vote Republican on that issue. Plus, it helps keep big business happy.

It's interesting that people always point to Bush as the catalyst of 'big business', yet it's interesting how many big businesses support the left as well. This is a fact. Even Microsoft gives far more to the democratic party than it does to the republican party. Could it be that the politicians see the importance of business? I mean, without business, there are no jobs, and without jobs- well...
