It really makes you think how stupid some people can be to require these instructions on these items. Much like the hair dryer one that says do not use while sleeping.

Everytime I see those kinds of warnings I think about the idiot that actually did it so they had to put those warnings on there.

If you're time is so valuable that you need to dry your hair in the shower I just don't know what to tell you.

How about 'do it quickly?'

Something I remember are the instructions they have on toasters

"do not immerse in water"

"This product was intended for use as the intended use only, not responsable for injury caused by using the product for a use not the intended use"... (however, the intended use is never actually mentioned. I forget what this was from, either a curling iron or a straightener...)
"This product is for indoor or outdoor use only".  My favorite... if it isnt indoor, or outdoor... whats left?  This was on christmas lights, mind you... internal?

Yup.  Every time you see a stupid warning you can rest assured that somewhere some moron did it - and then sued the company for not assuming he was a moron and warning him not to be a moron.

My two favorites that I have encountered over the years:

On a clothes iron - "remove clothing before ironing or burns may result."

And the all time best... drum roll please... on a bottle rocket (I swear to God I am not making this up) - "Do not insert into rectum.  Do not light while inserted in rectum."
