Can't agree with that. I would agree that most people are more kinky than they let on. That is a far cry from living a BDSM lifestyle. What I have found is that most vanilla's are into light bondage, spanking, etc. But even though one is topping another, they both consider themselves equals in the relationship. That is the cutoff line, as a great many of my vanilla friends simply can not get their mind around the idea of actually Dominating another, or really submitting to another. The ones who can accept those concepts are the ones most likely to try a fetish relationship.
The only time one gets in trouble with these debates is when one starts to think that one kind of lifestyle is somehow superior to another.

I agree many vanilla's are into light bondage, spanking etc., I would even add that many here that enjoy
role "playing" only, are essentially Tops/and bottoms.
I just don't personally see a big difference between the vanilla kinky crowd and the many Tops/and bottoms.
IMHO, Top/bottoms, play partners that are equals in the relationships, and vanilla kinks...are all in the same boat.
Also, throw in those that enjoy "playing" every other weekend and on holidays.

For me, they are INCLUSIVE by default, no different than some players around here and online.
I know of so many male submissives that are submissive for a few months, go back to vanilla for a while, then come
back again.
You have to flip a coin to figure out what they are.
