ORIGINAL: cjenny Please if anyone can answer this one? LE? This is a real question directed at you and other folks from the UK, specifically those that have been to the US. A friend from UK is coming to see me and asked what I wanted as a fun gift. I requested English Candy, but he wants specific types! I have no idea what types of candy are in England but not in the US. Please can anyone give me a list? Please please? Okay, not from the UK, but maybe it'll be a different perspective since I know what we have, and what they have, etc. I would go for Cadbury...major candy bar brand there, and the choccy is divine...some to choose from... Flake, Snowflake, Crunchie (sooo good), Turkish Delight, Marble Bar, Picnic...Flake Dark. I discovered all these at an int'l supermarket back in the days when I lived in a metro area..one of the few things I actually miss.... -wanders away thinking about crunchie bars and flake bars- -a -edited to add..Bournville!! don't forget that one..laughs-
