Fully leashed or half leashed or wear 'goth outfit'..... Wouldn't it be great if the 'old person' who you consided to be 'out of touch' was sitting behind a desk when you came in for a job interview or a custody matter concerning your child? The person you offend, may control your future..... Public display should be confined to places that welcome that type of display. Unless you are stinkin' rich and could care about perception, be careful what you do in public

Our actions do get back around to us and being courtous to the feelings of others rarely has a negative impact on your life.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! The voice of reason! WOW! It is SELFISH to put your kink in a public environment where it is not welcome. What if someone you work with saw you? Do you want to be the laughing JOKE of your work environment?What if your relatives or straight vanilla friends saw you? Think with your BIG head. First off, I don't believe in not showing children a person on a leash or any other BS. If someone can't handle seeing two people doing, all things considered, a harmless activity, they should hide under pillows at home. That having been said, if you do it, be aware of a few facts: You may see someone who knows you. You may get thrown out. You may get photographed for the local paper. Chances are, nothing bad will happen. However, the chance exists. Weigh that against getting your rocks off in an insignificant manner. As to people non-consensually being involved, how often do we do the same with music, t-shirt sayings, talking about something in public that may be a touchy subject to the guy at the next table over, and any number of other routine activities? I mean, gays kiss on the street, and they never asked me if I want to watch! I am depressed because I'm single, and that couple is holding hands! I aint saying it's good, but all publicity is good publicity for our cause, no? Yours, benji

^^^^^ exactly what ive been trying to say, only he said it better. noone is getting "harmed" as some have ridiculously stated. there is a point where that line would be crossed, but that point is far beyond wearing a leash in public, and also, not by coincidence, where laws would start to be broken. edit: and as for the harming yourself by doing it. by running into your boss or what have you, that's an entirely different thing. but assuming everyone on here is an adult that's their decision to make.

No. A precise analogy would be my mother seeing a complete stranger doing that in a mall. She might get a good chuckle out of it or find it distasteful, but i can say with certainty she wouldn't be the least bit harmed or lose a minute of sleep over it.
