Eruditus -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/9/2007 11:04:07 AM)

My first comment goes to "sambamanslilgirl". Tupac, Jay-Z, R Kelly...these people are not musicians. They don't play musical instruments. They program computers--oops! They pay others to program computers. They are mildly talented lyricists. And yes, I have had the extreme misfortune of hearing several of their...works; and they use puerile rhyme schemes that rarely rise above the "ring around a rosie" level. I did not want to get down and dirty. I have not hurled racial epithets such as "white boy wannabe" and I haven't indulged in cliched insults such as "worthless, pathetic, etc." You have. Tell me, who has more moral fiber? You're scared and angry. And Ghita, if you felt that my comment wasn't directed at you, then you're right: my comment wasn't directed at you. I am not a wannabe. I've never tried to make it in the rap business. I've never wanted to be a rappist. I simply noticed some inappropriate remarks in this thread, and came to the defense of my people. You have a right to be scared because I will make it my business to bring white people to the truth...gently, and with no blatant disrespect of minorities.
