Im the first to admit, there are things that prescription drugs are good for, but do your research, alot of them counteract badly with others and doctors dont always pay attention to this...it is after all the drug companies who pay their salary's. Think about this for a second, many places like walgreens, cvs, and walmart have begun starting little clinics where people can go to be seen for a throat infection, a cold, or any minor ailment and recieve medical care and prescriptions at half the cost of a regular doctor. Really great for those people without insurace. The AMA is now petitioning the government to shut them down because the doctors who belong to the AMA are scared they are gonna loose money. It aint about getting the american people the best medical care for less, its about who makes more money. It is always the patients responsibility to research whatever drugs the doctor prescribes, if something doesnt sound right to you, get a second opinion, or a third. Look at all the medical procedures and cures for diseases that are legal in other countries but outlawed in the USA? Doctors dont wanna HEAL people, they want to put them on drugs to mask all their syptoms. Sypmtoms arent the problem, they are a sign that something is wrong, heal the person, not the symptom.
