Hello A/all

Can someone tell me more, or direct me to a website with info, about anal punishment? I really don't know what to expect, but I have been talking with a Dom who mentioned it and that got me curious.

If you do a seach here there are a lot of threads about anal play, however i don't remember any on anal punishment.

With as delicate as the rectal tissues are, anal punishment sounds like a scary thing to me. Find out exactly what he means. If it involves harsh penetration I'd consider using your safeword.

Rough penetration can and does cause anal fissures (small tears to the sphincter. http://www.gicare.com/pated/ecdgs38.htm) These aren't THAT big of a deal, since consensual, gentle penetration can sometimes cause those too. What worries me about harsh penetration as punishment, is that lack of relaxation with anal play (and it is hard to relax when it is a punishment) can cause a break in the anal cushions (padded areas which protect the muscles and blood vessels from the stress of a bowel movement.) If the cushions become disturbed, they can puff up and split, allowing blood vessels to pop through either internally (internal hemorrhoids) or externally (external hemorrhoids). These blood vessels can then break (a bleeding hemorrhoid), clot (a painful purple hemorrhoid), or regress, leaving a small skin tag. Once you have an internal wound such as this, you risk developing an anal abscess or fistula. You can read about those in the link I gave for fissures.

Now, if the punishment is figging, I don't have a problem with it as long as it is done in such a way that the ginger is never in danger of being lost in the anus. I usually impale the ginger finger on a skewer. I've also heard of people using string, but I don't trust the ginger to not rip apart if it goes inside and is pulled out by the string. (Then again.. if it does slip inside, you can always throw the subbie in the wok and have some good stir fry..) The best part about figging is that the burning sensation builds over time, but quickly abates once removed. A FYI to anyone who does figging. Do NOT use regular lube with it. The lube seals the ginger juice away from the sub, stopping it from working the way you want. Wet ginger is slippery. Use water and go slow.

The last time I played at one of our local Dungeons, a Domme there used a lit cigarette on a sub's asshole. Really, have a Dom spell out EXACTLY what he means by anal punishment before ever consenting to it. Also, ask the Dom you were talking with what he means by it. He could simply mean he likes to have anal sex with his subs.

Anal punishment is a punishment that has something to do with your anus, I think. Alright, smart-assed cracks aside (no pun intended), what your erstwhile dom has in mind is doing something to your asshole that you will find painful, humilliating, degrading, or all three.

That's an area that is prone to damage if not treated with some respect, as you have already been told here, so the pain and discomfort angle can only be played responsibly to a relatively mild degree. Chances are the point of what the dom has in mind is more along the lines of humilliation. Something important to ask yourself though is whether you've ever expressed to this particular man that you find having stuff done to your anus degrading or humilliating. If you love being touched "back there", and maybe even like a little discomfort, it's not going to be much of a punishment, afterall.

If you haven't expressed that anal play is something uncomfortable for you, chances are the dom is thinking up he most humilliating thing that could happen to *him* and transfering that to *you*. It's his fantasy, and you are just a bystander. I'd councel you to be a little wary of him if this is the case. It's generally a sign of inexperience. Most folks come into this life with a bunch of fantasies in their heads that they just gotta try. Until they either have, or have gotten past it, they have a hard time interacting with others in a mature fashion.

i do not punish.....i play.....usually with vicks inserted in the anus...perhaps spread on a butt plug........then ben gay and then there is ginger......had a sub make a popsicle out of ginger.......inserted it in her anus.....it almost qualified as punishment........

i use a cane to punish.....

AAHHH! Figging is terrrrible. Oh, the burning, the burning.

Anyway, it's perfectly safe and horribly painful, so it's one of those good methods of torture.

What you do is get a finger of ginger and carve it into a buttplug like shape. It doesn't have to be big. Then, insert in sub's ass. Watch him/her writhe in agony. Remove when bored.

Figging was traditionally used to punish children as well as keep horses' tails up. How cruel.

just asking. but if the ginger should pop in why not push it back out? and i know for a fact that a person can push things out but i can't see why ginger would be different. does it cause you to lose that function somehow?

Well i've never had the displeasure of figging, but i would think, from what i've heard, that its ultra painful, and pushing it out is prolly the last thing on your mind.

Maybe for some it is pretty painful but for me both figging and BenGay just burn a little and make me really horny. I love it and would never consider it punishment.

i'm with you on this one.... i find ginger to be a great deal less painful than Ben Gay, a fresh slice on the clit just feels WONDERFUL! :)

(i told that to a Dominant once who told me to try cinnamon oil for a "real" burn....not sure about the safety of that, so i haven't done it yet...)

I wonder how those breath strips would feel? Fangs uses those on my clit and I go nuts. Anyone heard of using them on the anus? Anything not safe about it?

You have to be carefull with oils because they can really burn and not in the good way and if you try to wipe it off, it'll just spread all around.

Just to add to the overall enjoyment, You might have the sub prepare the ginger for the figging. he/she kneeling naked, preparing their own ginger plug torment device somehow seems fitting and adds to their mental preparation.

The advantage to ginger over other things is that not only is it good for you, but it is water soluble and the pain will go away quickly when you remove the plug should it prove to be too much.

(If you're worried about it not being enough, do some rough anal penetration of some sort before hand. That should create enough fissures to kill like hell )

And yes, you can push it out if you really want to.
