Everyone is mentioning that he could be using them to weed out people...whats with him asking the first name and ages and sexes of all your kids? right after you give him your street address??

What I meant was that he might use one's willingness to fill out the form as a way to weed out those who refuse. I thought the UM question was way out of line. I thought a lot of it was way out of line, thus I am probably one of his "weeds".

If you have AOL, go to the dominant women, real dominant women, submissive males, etc. chat rooms in the member created area called "special interests".   Some of the Pro Dommes have this questionaire on their web pages.  I'm sure there are better ways already mentioned here, but having not read through them, just another option.  Those questionaires, I was told during  chat with some of the Dommes who had them, helped them develop scenes for their clients.  I don't know how true that is, or how helpful this info was.  But for lifestyle considerations, wouldn't it be much better to learn each other, limits, likes, what turns you on, what terrifies you, what disgusts you, what you fantasize about in direct communication with potential Dominants?  A form letter just seems way to impersonal IMHO.

ready4, i always like reading your replies, they're always well thought out and provoke people into seeing another side *smile*

i do wonder, though, if these Dommes use this exact questionnaire or if They have Their own version of it?....i'm all for communication, but the questions asked, along with the request for names, ages, sexes and personal vital info including first/last name and street address is what the real issue is with this particular questionnaire, for me anyway, i can only speak for myself.

It scares me that a new-to-the-lifestyle sub/slave may think this is "protocol"...that this info is expected to be given out and may set themselves up for some very uncool attention....

workingonthings -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 8:07:40 AM)

I think she was referring to some thing that happened to her personally..not to this guys questionaire

Fast reply addressed to everybody in general and nobody in particular: where does this habit of calling children 'UMs' come from? It's awful, guys and girls! Let's not do it, purrrrrrrleeeeeeze! Here's what the online acronyms dictionary (or OAD) tells us about 'UM':

m0rgan -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 8:18:57 AM)

i was once asked to "fill in the questionaire" so i went outside and beat up the doorman!!

kittinSol -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 8:21:19 AM)

Argh, call it blonde brain syndrome (or BBS) but I don't get it, m0rgan [:o] .

domiguy -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 8:30:25 AM)

There is another thread running that Octavia started about being incompatible in a long distance relationship....So dumb!!!.....There are so many wacked folks out here it can turn your head....Damaged beyond fucking repair.  They will fill out such a questionnaire...They have nothing to lose....And the fucking Doms who utilize these questionnaires are the ones that are so fucking inarticulate and brain dead that they are unable to have a conversation that would enable them to glean any type of relevant info as to whether they are compatible to someone.

Both possess not enough brain power to push a flea around the inside of a  Cheerio.

kittinSol -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 8:42:49 AM)

Yes, makes sense. So the people responsible for committing the heinous crimes of publishing the questionnaires and those cretinous enough to answer their fucked-up questions deserve each other.

I suppose we ought to be grateful: it filters out amibias for us [8D] .

instynctive -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 10:05:17 AM)

UM = Univerity of Maine

YesMistressIrish -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 10:12:56 AM)

Bondage.com profile. It has a ton of bdsm questions. I also have a srvice questionnaire, but it is sitting on my pc at home and I am on vacation.

I will look for this thread when I get home.

MasterJeff:; I looked at your link. Incestuous home? ages of children and sex? Forced to have sex with male children?
I like the idea of having a questionaire filled out, but this shit is totally sick! Anything with KIDS/incest/forced sex with boys etc is not just bdsm, it totally crosses the line.

Who said they checked him out already? Did you really have his real city, face pic, etc,

*Smells something stiiiiinkah!

Greetings,
I have one I use, I made it Myself, http://www.geocities.com/sirjeff1952/questionnaire.html
it is easy to set up if you wish to use the same type
SirJeff

i have to say that question #21 & #22 are vile and have no place anywhere on any type of questionnaire.

If a potential Dom ever sent me something such as this, delete, ignore, movin' on.

Hmm...you find #21 and 21 that bad but what about "23) being forced to have sex with dogs and/or horses..." That one is ok? Hey, I totally understand if you didn't make it that far though.

if you got the date of birth, don't you by inferrence know the astrological sign?

I was thinking that as well.

Also, I'm almost surprised (on this forum, no less!) that people were quicker to object to the sexual activity questions and didn't even mention the vast amount of perosnal information required. Has anyone else been contemplating filling out a phony application for the fun of it?

Yes, i read it all...and while the animal sex is WAY beyond my kink and repulsive enough, i kind of zeroed in on 21 and 22....*shudder*

i contemplated it lol, but i wouldn't want that man to have access to my ip address so i decided against it...not sure if yahoo hides ip's or not but didn't want to chance it.

Celeste43 -> RE: questionnaire (7/5/2007 1:07:18 PM)

For checklists of legal activities the ones at bondage dot com are pretty good for starters.

But a dom who relied on them instead of using it as an overview to know if there were gross incompatibilities would be someone I weeded out. I'm not just another warm body interested in rope or floggers. I'm a person and honestly, my past experiences which have influenced my likes and dislikes are more important than minute details of whether I rate an elk flogger higher than a deerhide one.

As far as demanding I do illegal acts with minors and others unable to give informed consent who would be permanently harmed by those acts, if I had the name and address of someone interested in that I would turn it over to the FBI immediately.

UnMentionable. It's against TOS to speak of those not of age.

LOL. I did just that upon first checking out the site. By the time I had made if past such ridiculous questions as "ankles, Wrists, Neck" to which I answered "Nope, don't really have 'em" "Yeah, they're there" and "Yes, but you can't see it" respectively, I got tired of it and abandoned the project before sending it. Man, I even made up a fake name and 3 fake UMs to boot.
