Greetings fellow Mistresses and those who love them,

I have been having a few conversations about the number of current and former military men who contact Mistresses and how much they seek structure and discipline and frequently, pain.

Any ideas on the percentages of potential sub/slave males with a military background? I would say about 1/3 of the men who contact me are current or former military.

Any subs/slaves like to share their stories about life in the military and if that is a factor in seeking a Mistress?

I don't know if I can answer your question about percentages. I do know that being in a predominantly military town like San Diego I come across quite a few submissives that are current and former military. I think it has a great deal to do with the ritual and protocol of D/s equalizing that of military service.

It's amazing how many Marines are such utter and complete painsluts as well!

I'd say about 40% are current or former military of some sort.

Fortunately, I've always had an anti-authoritarian thing, as well as a thing for uniforms. It works well for me...those hardened, world-weary, muscular guys are SO much fun to break...mreowr!

During the first session with my Marine guy he wanted a hard caning,
and during the Scene the bamboo cane broke, and he still wanted more!

Granted, this is the same guy who is also a motocross rider and usually has "monkey butt", but still....

LOL tell me about it. Halloween at a local club I had a boy ask to be beaten. I had my favorite riding crop with me, and I started him off slow, a nice warm up. At one point he turns to look at me like "is that all you got"...didn't say it, just that look. Pissed me right the hell off. LOL Half an hour into it I break my favorite crop across his ass. *sniff* The witch sitting across from it all watching fascinated at the display hand me her broom. his ass is purple in places at this point but not a peep. Dammit, he's gonna break. 15 minutes later the broom handle breaks. Still not a peep.

So I sit on the chair, grab the back of his hair and drag him across my lap, lean over and pull the wooden hairbrush out of my bag and commence to whoop his ass. 3 minutes into it he's bawling like a baby and begging me to stop. 5 minutes after that he called red.

Damn I love it when they cry. Sigh....

errr...monkey butt??? Not familiar with the term.

I was going to make a crack about these guys getting their stripes..... but come to think of it the one but last whom I played with had been a sergeant anyway. Oh well, he got some more stripes as it turned out, right across the lacy panties he was wearing at the time......

I couldn't say anything about the number of percentages, but being in a military town Myself, I would say the number I get (who are actually in this town) are pretty high. Taking out the number of emails that I receive from those I regularly converse with, I would probably come down to close to a 50/50 split. It could be higher, as I don't really investigate the troll variety.

As to why I think it is, I have a general opinion. For one, I think, it is structure and protocol. Something military types are very comfortable with. Another is the need to give up control, as many are above the enlisted rank, and usually responsible for many others under them every minute of their military life. Also, I would say some crave a sense of belonging and security, since many are far away from what they consider home and family. There also may seem like there are more male, active duty military submissives who are searching because a lot of Dominants (like Myself) will not take on those who are currently in the military. They are in a situation of having to serve the military first, and their Dominant second. Change of duty station, deployment, CQ, and a lot of other situations make their length of stay or availability sometimes limited.

*S* my Robert is retired military (Marines). I can't begin to tell you the number of military men I've come across that have begged to be dominated. I chose the man who didn't beg but showed me we were worthy of each other.

Robert certainally has a masochistic side that I simply adore. He has told tales of some of his training and not only am I in awe (read shocked by) of what our own country does to our military personnel but I have wondered if what I do may give negative flashbacks to what he's been put through already. He reassures me that nothing he endured while enlisted was "bad" enough to make something I do with him "bad".

Robert has also given me (without intentionally doing so) a new view of our enlisted and this country. I never took pride very seriously before. There has only been a few times in my life that I felt real pride in my country (When standing in front of "The Wall" and touching those names); Today with Robert as a part of my life I feel much more patriotic than ever before. Just hearing things from his perspective is amazing. This may or may not sound silly but his love of the Marines is part of my love for him.

I know Im not a Mistress, so sorry but I wanted to add something to this thread. The name caught my eye as it scrolled accross the top of the screen.

As the wife of a career military man, (and the head "family support" person in my husbands unit) I thought the question was rather interesting. Sir has been in the Military for 24 years, 11 in the Marines, and 13 in the Army. He is definantly NOT a pain slut but he does have a rather huge pain tolerance (which I sometimes think is totally unfair cause he seems to think I should be able to take just as much as he can..."see..ill do it to myself, it doesnt hurt, stop crying")

Most of the time, this lifestyle is something its best to keep hidden from your superiors in the Military, but most of the men (and women) under Sirs command know about our lifestyle preferences. It sparked a rather fun discussion one night while I was babysitting (thats what I call it when most of the guys stay here at our house during a duty weekend (reserves). I was flat out amazed at the number of people who admitted to being interested in going to a Pro Domme. 2 of the girls addmitted to having previously been in D/s relationships as subs, 2 guys were Dominants in their current relationships and active in the BDSM scene, several I think said they'd like to try D/s as a dominant but from the questions they asked I think they were too embarrassed to say they would rather be subs. But what really amazed me was the number of guys who flat out addmitted theyd love to get beat on by a Mistress, there were at least 10 if I remeber correctly (there were only about 30 people in the group)

Now truth be told....anyone going into battle with my Sir's CO has got to be a masochist....no other explination! But it was definantly an interesting night.

I would say 50% or more are retired Military, ex fbi, sheriffs, cops, etc. Even some of the young guys! Thanks to Iraq, and resulting damage to the soul.

I am not quite sure as to why your particular comments was addressed to Me. At no time did I say that engaging in the activities that are covered under the umbrella of BDSM effected the ability to serve in the military. What I did say was that, as a Domme, I know that due to the nature of the situation, a submissive who is active duty, always has a Mistress over his life that comes above Me. Mistress Military.

Not taking submissives who are currently active duty has nothing to do with their courage or their galantry. I do not take them as Mine for the same reason as I would not consider being a second Dominant to one who already has a primary. Mistress Military would always have more control over the submissive than I would. I do not consider that acceptable in the power exchange that I desire. Imagine the following.......

submissive: Mistress, I received orders today that I am changing duty stations.
Dominant: No, I command that you remain here.
submissive: But, Mistress, if I do not go, I will end up at Fort Levenworth
Dominant: I do not permit you to leave.
submissive: Yes, Mistress. What area of Canada would you like to go to?

While I have every admiration for all who serve our country here and abroad, I do not find that someone who is serving active duty fits into My personal concept of TPE. You may not agree with it, but it is My personal preference.

I definantly understand why you wouldnt want a submissive in that situation..in truth, sometimes I wonder if I enjoy having a husband in that situation..I HATE it when he gets orders because there is nothing I can do about it....

My next question is...does that mean you refuse to play with men in the Military compleatly? or only refuse to enter into a relationship with them? Or to you is that the same thing? I know to some it is....Im not trying to be offensive, Im just curious.
