Well.. after a few times of talking, chatting, getting all insightful and whatnot, my husband and I have decided that the M/s dynamic wasn't really working for us.

I can't really explain WHY, exactly, except that it was really interfering with our marriage in a bad way. We were losing that essential "Us-ness" that we both cherished so much. I was having trouble thinking of myself as "owned property" and he felt the same, so we just ditched the whole concept. Why fix what ain't broke?

Honestly? I feel pretty good about the decision. Except now I feel obliged to change my profile, and the whole slave tag was doing a damn good job keeping most of the HNGs away. =)

I think it would be an incredibly difficult task to introduce this aspect into an existing relationship....I would think it would be only natural for someone to possibly want it "more" than the other....May not be the case here. Also I think there would possibly be a great deal of giggling and possibly tears shed over trying to make the switch.

It seems to be a rather awkward proposition at best....Oh well, back to missionary....lol.

Take care of each other...That is the most important thing if possible.
