So Ive been looking around the net to add some leather or other fetish wear to my closet. I go around to conventions and see women in all these sexy outfits and darn it, I want one too.

Heres my problem, Ive had three kids and Im not exactly a size 5 anymore, but niether do I consider myself to be obese..Im a size 10/12 depending on the time of month and Im just not going to flounce around in a midriff halter top with my mid-section looking the way it does. Ive found some really wonderful fetishwear sites catering to the BBW clientele..and some of the stuff they sell is really great, but they dont make it small enough for me, and most of the stuff on other sites that IS made in my size...well, Id be silly to fool myself into thinking it was made for my body type....sure it looks sexy on the size 2 models...but honestly, do they really think the majority of america looks like that??

So, does anyone know of any sites that sell some tasteful fetish gear (or is that some sort of oxymoron?) I am one of those who truly believes in dressing for your body style and its possible to look sexy without looking trashy.

HI Ghita, stretch marks do diminish with time, or so Im told, Im still waiting, patiently, mostly.....but good luck with that:)
Being in the lingerie business....... myself  as a fat  woman I noticed a "GREAT " discrepency in fetish clothing in the BBW/obese/fat/chubby/larger/plus sizes........ its what I was looking for, and while I could find many many lingerie/fetish clothing companies for slender people finding one that supplied to both were few and far between, without having to go to customised/specialised shops.
I decided in my infinite wisdom (ahem) to only stock lingerie, fetish gear from companies that cater to "plus" sizes as well as "normal" . That being said, there are a grand total of four companies I use....pretty sad when you think how many hundreds are out there, but thats hardly the point ...sorrywas starting to ramble.
Check out my site, Lin is below..... checkout,  Fetish Fashion and Ladies Wear.  Theres leather, latex, lingerie, pvc and lycra, , most have sizes starting at 32 bust and I have tried to make the sizing easy to find per item, but you can always email me if you have questions.
No matter the size, feeling sexy is wonderful,........... in the right outfit, its downright orgasmic
Good luck in your search:)
Lucy

I fully understand the strech mark comment. I was lucky in that the ones on my stomach fadded pretty fast, i barely got big with mine, but i got a shit load of strech marks on my ass. Did my ass get big while pregnant? not really i have had them since around puberty and am a self conscious about them when i wear the occasonal short shorts. I have seen maybe a handful of fetish sites that cater to the big girl who needs something kinky to wear and its sad

Hot Topic. Maybe you won't find latex, but you'll find PVC, and you can sometimes find leather and sometimes be stuck with pleather (I have a vegan leather nurses's dress that is pretty sexy).

If their sizes don't go high enough (they should, I'm a 10 verging on 12 and have very few problems finding things to fit me), their sister company Torrid makes some of the same items only in larger sizes, and some items catering to nothing but bigger women.

Key here isn't as much where to shop, but what to shop for. If you are self conscious about your belly, a sexy bra with a skirt in your preferred length become verry sexy and fetishy with a waist cincher over the top - both hiding and tucking in that midriff! Fishnet shirts, bodysuits, etc help  you feel covered and hide a multitude of stretchmarks/scars/etc while letting you also be deliciously displayed. I have horrible scars on my legs from self injury but fishnet hose or a pair of fishnet pants I bought do me a lot of good.

Once you know which items you want to acquire, it's easier to find places to acquire them in your size.

Thank you for the link, Lucy, I will definantly check it out!

The few places that I have seen who do cater to the larger sizes....have what seems to be just a larger size of the exact same thing they are making for their smaller sized models. Does that seem strange to anyone but me? As a middle of the road sized person, I just cant see myself wearing the same outfits a size two model is going to get away with...and my moms a size 22/24..If I could ever get over the idea of my mom wearing anything that qualifies as fetish..I know damn well she wouldnt be wearing a midriff and mini skirt. Is it possible for somone to make fetish wear thats a bit more conservitive? Or does that not make it fetish wear anymore?

And crimson, I got stretch marks on my tits during puperty, I HATED it, at least now I have kids and I can blame them on that now..but theyve been there a whole lot longer...but its the ones on my belly that really bother me....not many people see my tits, and the ones that do, I assume they already love me anyway, whats a stretch mark gonna do.

If its conservative its not fetish. the ones on my ass would be so bad but underneath the tiger/sebra stripping i have what i refer to as leopard//jaguar spots. Not to mention all the lovely scars and discolorations and the birthmark on the inside of my arm. I am considering justjumping into a vat of skin bleach and trying to even thing up a bit

Like I said, when it comes to "conservative" it's a matter of picking your fetish and what to wear.
Yep, many of those size 2 models are sporting the exact same item sold in size 6, 12, and 18. And in my opinion, it's just as sexy to see a self confident size 18 (or 24) wearing that item and feeling pride in her body as the size 2. Fetish is also a world where nudity is accepted, and while you might not want to show your stretch marks out at the park with the kids, or at the mall, at a fetish party where half the people are running around, sometimes having your boobs covered IS conservative.

The fashion industry has made items that are exactly the same cookie cutter from size 2 to 24 for years, and while I know it's frustrating, you can't change it. But you can  pick styles and modes that you like and shop for those, instead of "fetish wear" in general and end up a lot happier. Custom made items are more expensive but are guaranteed to be made to your specifications, including covering whichever flaws you find most necessary.

Although I'm a few sizes smaller than you, like you I find clothes that leave something to the imagination sexier than very, very revealing outfits, so I think my experience might be applicable. I'm also a bit of a clotheshorse and fashion junkie, and I'd love to see more mingling of mainstream and fetish choices.

If you don't care for the cuts and styles of clothes made by fetish designers and sold in fetish stores, don't buy "fetish" clothes. Buy clothes that can give off a fetishy vibe that are sold in "normal" stores. Often, those clothes have better quality fabric and fit than dedicated fetish stuff (unless, you know, you enter the high-end Rose Algren, Stormy Leather kind of market) and, especially, if you shop consignment and bargain stores like TJ Maxx, they are generally less costly. You can find leather skirts and pants in department stores easily--I've got a pair of suede pants from Lord and Taylor, and several leather skirts in lengths from mini to below the knee, mostly pencil and a-line cuts because those suit me, although I've seen other shapes. PVC and shiny synthetics can be had, too. I also like silk, velvet, and other touchable, interesting fabrics, ideally with a bit of a sheen to them to make the item a little more festive. Buy clothes that have a little sheerness, or lace, or fishnet, if that suits you. Essentially, choose sexy, pretty clothes, maybe a little more femme, maybe a little more revealing, fitted, or brightly colored than you would ordinarily wear. Buy clothes that make *you* feel beautiful, and that suit your aesthetic and your desired image while still being appropriate for the event.

Now, some concrete examples and advice. I have a leather pencil skirt that has gone to work on casual days in winter with tights and a sweater, and by changing to heels or fuck-you boots and a different top, I get a look for parties. In winter, those suede cigarette pants go to play parties with a velvet jacket fastened up over a bra (so, you see deep plunge and cleavage, but little other skin) and the same outfit goes to holiday parties with the jacket open and a top under it. Changing shoes, bras (i.e. push-up or seamless) and other accessories has made the same wrap dress appropriate for play parties, other parties, and, with a jacket or sweater over and a camisole under, for work on casual days. While some of my play party outfits are just festive or sexy and not really fetish wear, when I do want an overtly fetishy look or when I need to meet a dress code, I wear leather.

You might think about a body part that you like and can display comfortably--I know a woman who has a very well turned upper back/shoulders/arms region, and while she often wears clothes that give a little more room around the midriff, I don't think I've ever seen her in a top with sleeves. If you like the shape of your body, but you're worried about cellulite, veins, scars, or other skin issues, you can wear snug clothes that don't actually show skin--catsuits are a great option, and can be especially stunning if you're tall. Even though stockings are somewhat "out" in mainstream fashion, kinky people haven't tired of them, and I'm glad of it--patterned ones are particularly fun.

Whew, that was a long post. I just recently had an "I'm going to a party, and I haven't a thing to wear!" moment, so perhaps that's why I have a lot to say. I hope some of this was helpful.

perhaps you might look at larger sized items, then take them to a seemstress or tailor and have them altered down to your liking. it's no stretch ( for them ) to take a leather biker vest and change it into a boned and lace-up corset. hope this can help- phoenix

I'm still waiting for My pregnancy stretch marks to disappear (almost 22 years now!!).

Honestly, it's how you THINK that makes you FEEL great. Having said that, there's no way I'm flashing My stretch marks at anyone. Have a good look around ebay, I get almost all of My gear on there. Lots of trashy things, yes, but also some really seductive, sexy and classy things in the tiniest to the largest sizes.

Good luck and feel gorgeous!!

Ebay has heaps of fetish wear in ALL sizes.  I have bought heaps of stuff from Ebay.  And as someone else said, I wear a black pvc cincher over most outfits and it looks HOT.  Do a search on ebay for PVC - there is so much hot wear.

Even buy a hot pink or black chinese dress and put a cincher over the top - wow instant sexy female!!!!!!!!!!  Curves in all the right places, and an hourglass figure is so sexy and feminine.  Add high 5 inch heels and it's pure fetish, and you'll look different to the other pvc, latex all in black lovelies :)

Or black tight pants, high black boots over the top, black long sleeved fitted top with PVC cincher over the top, again adds curves and hides the "bits".  And it looks sooooo sexy.

Have fun with your fetish clothes - it's so much fun!!!

I'll have to agree with Sinimint there... cinchers really help those "problem areas." You can also try looking at Versatile Fashions. They carry custom corsets (underbust and overbust), heels, wigs, costumes and outfits. I'm on the curvy/ thicker side (size 12, but working down a bit, because my ass could really use the help.. hahaa!) and I can easily fit into a few of their outfits. Also.. ebay's always great, just pay mind to sellers feedback. Well good luck!

I will second Ebay   do searches under leather harness, leather corset, leather bustier, leather teddy  etc and then look around in the sellers stores to see what else they have available , I am of the same size and grandmother as well  there is a store somewhat nearby to shop at but I cannot afford their prices, shopping thru ebay I can get similiar for a   1/3 to 1/2 the price even with the shipping factored in,    some of the sellers  I have found include 1durr2155 ,  whiteael, alter-ego-erotics*llc , his-hers-n-theirs that carry a good size range at reasonable prices,   can also take a look at vancouverwholesale

I was just at hot topic the other day trying on clothes... I have the same problem!
I'm a size 10.... working towards an 8.  The stuff made for bbw, doesnt fit, the stuff in the regular kink industry looks BAD!  I mean, I have bore children, my body sags and pooches in all the wrong places.   The 10 that would have rocked on my body 11 years ago, just makes me look like a foolish woman now.  I had high hopes for hot topic.  The only problem was, these are the same clothes that would have rocked on my size 10 body pre-children.  They are not made for a womans'body.  I did buy a size L t shirt that will look good when I get down a few more pounds, Now, it looks a little tight.    sigh.
I just bought a bodice at the renn faire yesterday that I LOVE.  It is such a challenge to find kink wear or things that make me feel sexy and not silly, that I get very excited when I do find them.  Often I am finding that I have to look toward the small business owner.  There is just nothing like wearing a quality item that looks good on you.  I seem to mostly find that from people who are making them, rather than companies.   Hmmmmm to bad I can't sew.  I think a business that catered to the average woman's body in kink wear would fly... We could sell under the label "Hot Mamma".
