*This is a rant to the drunk idiot who touched me last night*
Hey ass...keep your hands to yourself.  You have no clue how lucky you were that you immediately removed your hands from my body when I told you not to touch me.  My better half and his business partner were not amused.

Rant over.

Why do complete strangers feel like they can touch anything they want just because they're in a public place?

KatyLied -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 7:26:35 AM)

Sorry, I thought your butt required a pat last night.  I'll try to refrain in the future...

Aileen68 -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 7:27:46 AM)

The better half and business partner would have been very amused had that been the case.

pahunkboy -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 7:39:35 AM)

back in the day-the lady would haved slapped the dude in the face cheak. [once[]

SeeksOnlyOne -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 7:41:51 AM)

i had something like this happen to me once on a dance floor...this man wouldnt get the hint, as i danced away from him, put folks between us....gave him go to hell looks, etc...finally, i had enough and screamed "quit touching me you gross lil man!"

well right at that moment, the band quit playing, so my screaming over the music was the only sound in the bar just about....and i got a standing ovation and several other ladies hollered "yeah quit touching us too".  seems i wasnt at all special....

some folks just dont get it.....

bravo!!!   you hereby are awarded pahunks post of the day award! [informal]  no one OWES sex to anyone.  you have a right to own your body!!!! the world is full of creaps like that which makes me glad to be male. i appreciate the beauty of a woman; due to the brain configuration, per haps it would be a more peaceful world if woman were in charge. on the other hand- maybe not. anyhow- men would be total savages w/o having teh influence of moms- and ladies in a society.

BRAVO on standing your ground- and treating yourself with self respect- if you dont respect you- then no one will.....

I believe that Pink has already taken care of the matter for you....[sm=cool.gif]

windchymes -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 9:42:52 AM)

So is this thread follow-up to the "Should I?" thread?  [;)]

Should I....bang the business partner?   Should I....let idiot drunks pat my butt?   Should I.....let Katy pat my butt?

mnottertail -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 9:44:02 AM)

Can't you just round 'em up and do it all in one fell swoop?

I think that about as intimate as you should get in public is a handshake.

it is sorta rude in public for couples to be kissy kissy glued to eachother.  tho- cell phone hollarers bother me more...

You and I must have grown up in very, very different places.

You piss of the wrong woman, she'll just cut you with a knife, *if* she doesn't shoot you dead.

Aileen68 -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 10:02:52 AM)

I'm laughing...nothing to do with the Should I thread.  and the business partner is so far from my type it's not even funny.  This was probably the closest I've ever come to physically wanting to punch someone.  I didn't just because he was an idiot and if I did my better half probably would have wound up arrested by the end of the night.  It just wasn't worth the hassle.  Plus he did stop touching me when I told him too.

Aileen68 -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 10:04:24 AM)

I just got annoyed because I don't like people I don't know in my space, especially drunk asses.  And then to be touched...ugh.

mnottertail -> RE: Invading my Personal Space (7/13/2007 10:06:32 AM)

Well, you duck walk around me with that ass up in the air like that, and I don't give a fuck what you or your business associates think, I am gonna check it out.

Drunker than a Lord, or sober as a London Bobbie.

They think they can get away with it. I think your better half and his business partner deserve an award, if a guy touched me, he would NOT be verticle long enough to enjoy it. If MJ didn't do something and my bestfriend would, {rofl} that poor pathetic excuse for a creature would be on the floor; ok, she has, I think she almost broke some guy's wrist when he grabbed my ass; I dumped his beer in his lap and the bouncer kicked him out.

When I was pregnant everyone was trying to touch my stomach, I was not amused, so I had a few t-shirts made up, 'not public property' and 'you wouldn't be touching if i wasn't pregnant, so don't touch now' and a few others; it got the point across. It was fine if someone asked, but otherwise, I was one protective tigress. I'm not a fan of touching if I don't know someone, yuck.

Big smiles!  I dont know if the mods would allow a double post. I dont want to upstage anyone or clutter the board.

Primarily I consider the content of the post- I prefer not to know WHO posted it- as it can only bias my "awards".
I look for timely, relevent, and "be real" posts. I suppose you could compile them and it would make a good read.

If I did more then one a day, it would cheapen the "award"; frankly there is a HUGE amount of brain power here- and I have trouble picking the best. [as many posts that havent been awarded could have been]

If I see muck- I tend to avoid it. and if 2 posters are agiatating eachother- well- I try to make it none of my business.

Ironically- I am not in the liefstyle. I experimented a small bit. I came to the site out of curiosity. I stay due to the stimulating posts!

Regards- Roger
