I don't think you understand the concept of a threat to the existence of the Republic. You think some Jihadists count for some dumb reason. They don't.

well what pisses me off is that we damn well better believe it too.

If the day comes that we do not we will have another murrah building incident or even another 911.

OOOpppps damnit they just slipped by us again through that open border.   More money now people so we can hire a zillion border guards, or worse actually go through with martiual law and go for th egold in one shot.

It feels so comfortable being held hostage by our governemnt and the money makers.   Try shutting the federal reserve down without immediately pumping cash into the system and watch the banks pull the bills out of circulation to force us into another depression like before.

The bank reportedly threatened i think it was jefferson with it face to face.  Its no secret that we are hostages but many people cant imagine it, much less face the reality of it

Then you are free to substitute teachers, medics, etc., should you not feel firefighters are an in-demand work group.

Still, I know towns I've lived in have been short on firefighters. I'm also aware such haven't been the unique in such a status. Still, I'm sure some areas don't suffer from such shortages.


Firefighters out here where I am are depressingly underpaid.

Same could be said for teachers.

I think that shows just how stupid the anti-war movement truely is...

Cindy Sheehan continuously states the 700,000 number of Iraqis killed since the war started. That number was put out by a far-left group and has been soundly rejected by all other legitimate estimates.

And protesters continuously refuse to answer the question about what might happen to Iraq if the US leaves.... It can be much, much worse you know. That is possible. The only thing that protesters want is the troops out. They dont seem to give a damn about what that might do to either country or the region.

I'm curious why you think this.  What is your understanding is of who these people are, what their goals are, and how they intend on accomplishing them?

And I think this is about the most delusional thing I have ever read.  This assertion completely falls apart under even casual scrutiny.  In even the worst case -- assuming your hysterical fantasies about the evil of George Bush are true -- he won't even be in office as of January 20, 2009!  If the opposition party had run a better candidate in 2004, he wouldn't be in office *now*.   As it is, he's a political cripple.

Please -- make the case that George Bush is more of a threat to the existence of the Republic than jihadists with six live nuclear weapons.  I'm all ears.

He is a FELON AT LARGE. Unless you're some sort of Bleeding Heart Liberal, I don't know why anyone wouldn't want the full enforcement of The Law. What does it say about our moral authority as a Nation Under The Law, of Equal Protection of the Laws, and Due Process if we CHOOSE to not prosecute felons simply because they will leave office in a period of time?

Do the words "Honor and Integrity in the White House" ring any bells?

Perhaps not, I've seen a lot of strident talk, but not a lot of Honor and Patriotism in your posts.

How many years did he spend in jail prior to be afford his constitutionally guaranteed right to a speedy trial?

Do you really need me to quote the Bill of Rights articles violated by his almost endless imprisonment?

He is only being tried in criminal court because the Supreme Court forced the President to either charge him or
set him free.

Regarding your other comment...

Patriot Act, Chapter 97, article 5.  Interfere with interstate commerce, you are a terrorist.  ILWU Marine Clerks not working interferes with interstate commerce.
