So, your answer is that a regime harboring and actively supporting a global jihadist terror network is not a threat to the existence of the Republic? Is that your position? Get back to me when the Jihad is rolling T-72s down the Adirondack Northway. ( We have some surprises around Saratoga -- Again ) I don't think you understand the concept of asymmetrical warfare very well. I don't think you understand the concept of a threat to the existence of the Republic. You think some Jihadists count for some dumb reason. They don't. I'm curious why you think this. What is your understanding is of who these people are, what their goals are, and how they intend on accomplishing them? quote:

I think you'd be well served if you put aside your hatred of Bush for about 30 minutes and looked into the goals and tactics of the jihadist movement. It's not exactly a secret -- they've been very open about what they want, and why, and how they intend to accomplish it. Here's a hint: T-72s aren't involved. Yeah, they pulled off 9/11, and Bush then took away all our freedoms. Name one. quote:
In that context, Bush handed Bin Ladin the Win. First he pulled our troops out of his homeland, as ordered to, And Bin Laden reacted to that... how? quote:
then he took away our rights. Name one right that you do not have today that you had before Bush was in office. Name one job you cannot have, one event you cannot go to, a place you can't travel to, a thing you can't say or do, a book you can't read (or write), a film you can't make (or see), music you can't sing, that was legal on 9/10/2001 but is illegal now. Name ONE THING. quote:
I would suggest that Bush's PROVEN ACTS are *more* a threat the the Republic, than any dumbass Extremists. And I think this is about the most delusional thing I have ever read. This assertion completely falls apart under even casual scrutiny. In even the worst case -- assuming your hysterical fantasies about the evil of George Bush are true -- he won't even be in office as of January 20, 2009! If the opposition party had run a better candidate in 2004, he wouldn't be in office *now*. As it is, he's a political cripple. Please -- make the case that George Bush is more of a threat to the existence of the Republic than jihadists with six live nuclear weapons. I'm all ears.
