I bought a Select Comfort bed. I really like it but i wonder if i should have gotten a tempur pedic one.

I've longed for this bed before myself.  And the select comfort bed.  Now I want both.  This bed fitted with the select comfort mattress.  That's my new fantasy.[:D]

I tried the tempuric <however you spell it> one out. I HATED it! Once you lay down you can't roll over or move around. I stayed in a hotel that had these beds and it was miserable. Having diabetes I have to move around because of my circulation problems and I couldn't do that with this bed.[&:]

I am still learning about diabetes and I always wondered why at night my legs ache so much that I end up laying on the couch, the floor, wherever I find comfort...that is common with diabetes?

Unfortnately yes it is. My legs feel like pins are sticking in them if I lay to long on my back, so I tend to flipflop all around all night long. My sub wonders if I ever sleep, lol, because I am constantly moving around.  My mom had this problem and they put her on medication that took the feeling away. I will have to ask her what the medication is and pass the name on to you.

thankyou. there are so many nights when my legs ache so bad all I can do is just pace around the house to try to make them stop hurting...yes, like pins and needles.[&:]

One medication my mom takes for that is neurotin (not sure of spelling), I know when she didn't have them , she could hardly sleep the pain was so bad.  You might check into it and see what your Dr says.
