Then I read Sudja's comment that it is essentially emotional abuse and I thought about it a bit more deeply. I think Sudja is right here as I've been so conditioned/messed up by the silent treatment that when I do not have contact with my trainer for a couple of days I think that I must have done something wrong and start to worry. She has had to say to me at least twice that if I'm in trouble I will know about it and otherwise don't panic. It looks like this is a response I did not even realize I had from that upbringing and something I will need to focus on breaking myself from.

my Dom has many forms of punishment. Silent treatment is the worst. As i do not like pain, spankings and paddlings are also used for punishment. The most extreme punishment so far has been public humiliation. The reasons for the punishments vary. W/we are still in training and for small infractions (not having all my chores done when they are supposed to be done) it is a simple spanking or paddling. For worse infractions (i am a flirt and sometimes flirt without realizing it - though this is improving) i may be denied climax or the next time we go out he will make me wear something short and slutty and i'll have to do something humiliating.

I just received my first punishment from my new Dom. I "forgot" to ask permission from him before I had an orgasm (I'm new to this being a sub stuff as I have always been a Domme...*I forget my orgasms are not mine now..). So, he refused to let me have anymore that night. Also, he made me masturbate and stop before having one and brought me to the brink many times, always stopping. I also had to do this on my own at home..always stopping. I was being "bratty" again and complained to him on his before bed call to me the next day. Of course we re-evaluated the reason why I was being punished....because I "forgot" to ask....and that is was my fault and this was the consequence....and I was lucky I wasn't just locked in a chastity belt, as that would be what happens the next time *sigh....(which would drive me insane as I am very passionate...). So, I spent night two not sleeping in deep frustration......and called him at 6 am the next morning (per his orders). We discussed it again, and the restriction was lifted (thank God!!). But, he reminded me the results of next time this happened would be much more severe.
