I have a beautiful shoulder roast of organic lamb in the oven now, and it's smelling fantastic.  At the small family farm they are raised on, I swear they eat better than I do.  When I go over there, they are usually eating out of big boxes of produce that I eye with real envy.  Last time their meal featured sugar snap peas, kale, asparagus, strawberries, blueberries, apples and watermelon.   The other day when I went to pick up a pair for the freezer, they were eating fresh corn on the cob, and they had been fed recently on fennel, turmeric and garlic to make them nice and flavorsome.  Ohyeah, I'm gonna eat good for awhile.  I may go back and pick up another lamb or two before all the culls go to auction, since there's still a few crevices left in my freezer.

Butchering my own meat is more work, but the results are oh so worth it, because I get absolutely top quality groceries for a tiny fraction of what I'd pay in a gourmet market.  Hell, I'm getting top quality organic meat for less than what Wal-Mart charges for the cheapest ground hamburger.   If I boil down the skulls (one of the two males culled for eating had nice horns) and sell them on Ebay, I could end up paying almost nothing for my meat.  If I tanned and sold the hides also, I'd make money and have free meat.   It's an excellent deal all around, and I have no idea why everyone doesn't do it.  You can butcher a lamb or a small hog on a portable table outdoors or in a medium-small kitchen, and it's trivial work for the benefits you get.   You can easily fit two lambs or one small hog or a medium sized deer in a standard upright fridge-freezer if you bone all the meat.  I bought a chest freezer and in it can generally be found one cow, a couple of hogs, a deer and two to four lambs at any given time.

I do notice a lot of vuglar sounding profiles, where the writer comes off as a "Bitch".
But I also notice the age on most and they're usually young women's profiles. You can usually tell by their name or the opening line of the profile, why do you keep reading? Just Trolling perhaps?

It's my opinion that these young women are maybe starting the adventure of becoming a Pro-Domme and at times even a lifestyle Domina and have thoughts that this is how Domina's "should act". Probably from watching porn or reading erotic literature.

I say so what, who the hell cares, if you don't like the profile or their motives, move on to the next one!

Nope benji you are not alone, we all see it.  Its kind of like a 500lb hairy, sweaty naked man standing in front of you at a football game with his ass in your face. Its something you just can't miss.

With much respect, I ask- don't you think the people who see dominance as simply as you described are really often just inexperienced? I do not believe subs are dictating how true Dommes will act or developing a market for bitches.  It seems there have always been men attracted to said women and plenty of women to fill that role.  It is up to us to educate them, not insult and isolate them, on the great complexities of Female Dominance.   Many have absolutely no idea of the knowledge and skill required, the endless training and reading needed for much of the most enjoyable play-sounds, single tails, suspension....... learning how to do these SAFELY.
The insulting language in the original post only furthers the very missconceptions you speak of because it immediately puts people on guard and hostile.  I learned alot of technique from Male Dominants because they were so much more open then Femdoms-I wish this were not the case.

Some are inexperienced, some have been doing it for years and found themselves contented with only that aspect of what dominance can be.

I don't believe in "true" Dommes, subs, or switches. There is a spectrum of dominance and submission, and it ranges from the bitchy/use me as meat to the more involved relationships. As I said, supply and demand. If more subs seem to be looking for bitchy women, more women will take that as their starting point, and possibly never make it past those stereotypes.

It's not up to me to educate people who want nothing but to follow stereotypes. If you have assigned yourself a mission, knock yourself out. When someone wants to know more about needles, fire, inspiring obedience, the difference between dominance and domineering, etc, they will learn to ask, and then I will answer. Until then, I'm content to let them be happy on the level they have chosen to remain. I pray that inexperienced people don't cause horrific damage by thinking all you have to do is pick up a toy and voila you can use it, but I can't try to educate the world.

Funny, I neither found the OP insulting, nor was I put on guard or hostile.

Have you considered that perhaps the women who write the profles you find so disturbing dont actually enjoy acting the way they do?  You assume they are putting on the act to attract a sub man.  However there are more than enough men out there that we really dont have to put much effort into finding anyone. Instead, there are women who truly enjoy being a bitch. Thats who they are and what they want.
If you dont like what you are reading, move on to another profile. Some of us are not raving bitch goddesses, but if you piss us off we can be. Others have pent up aggression and are here to find someone to freely vent that with. Better know what you might be getting into with a straight forward profile that says right off the top "I am going to be a bitch to you, dont complain about it" than thinking you are gettinga sweetheart and then coming onto the forums and complaining about someone who lied about what they wanted.
Its a no win situation.

It all depends on what exactly you find to be bitchy. I had one guy tell me that I was a bitch because I list the things I am interested in, in my blog! the gall!  If it is saying stuff like "only females" "Or NO MEN PLEASE" Well I can't say as I blame them.  Because men, regardless of their role, overall tend to ignore women's profiles, and/or read what they want to read.  Not that all men do. In fact recently I have had more men mention things in my profile that show that they have read it, and were actually capable of maintaining a conversation! Wow! I was beginning to think that men like that were extinct!  lol.  Anyways, connect with your local community, chat on the forums, and have patience.  I am sure you will find your One.  And I agree with the general consenses about changing your nic.  :)

Thank you for the thoughtful reply.  I understand more where you are coming from and as a semi-female supremcist lol, your thoughts are more interesting to me then the op-btw his profile is now defunct, perhaps he was just trying to stir the pot?  I did find his disrespectful words of girls and bitches somewhat offensive-and the wording to be offputting to a new domina who thinks Her way is the right way.  As I said, I am interested in BDSM education, though I do not consider myself an expert, just remembering how  felt when I was new.

Much love to you

A

Actually, you'd be wrong.  I have so much meat at home that when I go out, it's the vegetable/vegetarian dishes I often choose.   If you think about it, with an entire freezer already full of the highest possible quality meat, it makes fuck-all sense to go to a steakhouse.  Why would I pay $20 to $50 for a dry aged steak or a wild game platter or a rack of organic local lamb when I already have 50 lbs of the best in my freezer, and I can cook it as well or better?   I appreciate a good chef's skills to be sure, and they're often better demonstrated with simple and fresh food such as vegetables.

I've had to edit my profile a few times, and it comes off as a little assy.. remarkably enough the assy emails have slowed down as a result, which I'm happy with that.

Although, I did have some douchebag email me out of the blue and accused me of thinking I'm better than everyone else because I have in my profile that common courtesy dictates if any one emails someone else, that even a "thanks but no thanks" would be in order.  So in the sprit of my own words, I sent her a "no thanks" to which she responded "That wasn't a proposition,.. I don't do married men."

Hate to burst your bubble sunshine, but I'm really not here to "do" anyone.

And now I'm rambling.

me personally i love it when dommes/females use the word bitch or bitchy.for me it adds a real sense of more power, control and toughness about her, other than what she already has anyway.it sums up a picture of a no nonsense tough superior female who will break you!!!!!!!

For every "bitch" profile you encounter, you will find an equal (or greater) number of "bastard" profiles.  "Give me your money slave" is the female equivalent of "Suck my di*k bitch" male posting.  They are all done by people -  amazingly enough, those same people are our neighbors, our bosses, our employees, etc.  They are everywhere!

Take each post you encounter with a grain of salt.  Mistress Manners is not present on the Internet, so people are free to post what they will.  You, as the reader of the post or profile, are free to ignore them.

Best advice one can be given is to enjoy the companionshiop of people you identify best with, give others a reasonable time to show their true colors, and ignore the rest.  And don't forget to have fun while you are doing it.

I'm sure this will be disagreed with, especially since I'm new here, but after browsing some pretty irritating profiles, I have to say it.

Being a total b*tch is not the same thing as being a dominant female.

I know that some guys probably really get off on it, and more power to them, but for me, these profiles where women show off how staggeringly trashy and vulgar they can be are not impressive and I'm more inclined to insult them (I would never do so directly, as it is against the rules) than deem them worthy of my submission. I think a lot of the girls here have been ruined by guys who just want to be ordered around by anyone with breasts.

Am I alone in these sentiments?

You really want to know what I think?  OK.  I think that you are acting out of anger.  You see the "total bitch" as a person you would not want to be involved with.  This is your right.  But why would you choose to criticize those of us who love the "total bitch," as you put it?

Everyone has their own ideal of the "perfect" Domme.  For you, it is obvioulsy someone who is more of a kind and considerate Domme.  But not all "bitchy" Dommes are without kindness and consideration.  Can She not be bitchy one minute, then kind and considerate the next?  Do you think that you have the ability to get into the mindset that is required to be worthy of such a Woman?  Or maybe you really do belong in the line at McDonald's Domme World just waiting for the special of the day.
