Hello Carrisa. I work in a prison, maximum security. Some of the inmates (bad boys) don't like me (most do...I think?) because of some past and recent "misunderstandings". I must keep my profile low in cyberspace. This is to protect my family and yes, I could be put out of business also. RL.

I Once drove all the way to Tennesee only to find the one had used her niece`s pic and was like 16 years older than she had stated she was .. I was like Ermmmmmmmm wheres your daughter???...... I mean what the hell are People thinking when they do that?

I use my own picture because I want people to know what they are getting into. With that being said, I am not working for anyone who would fire me(infact they might give me a promotion lol) but I do go to a christian college(think bob jones except that we actually learn things) so if it leaked out, I might have to "repent" but I won't be kicked out.

I use my actual face on this website, but I dont do it on Alt. Alt seems to have alot of people who think its a joke to go browse through all the pictures of us "freaks" Ive not come accross that here. Of course, I work for myself, so it doesnt really matter if I get outed, and Sir works for a company where everyone there gets together on the weekend for huge swinger parties...which I flat out refuse to go to.....so Im sure if they saw us on one of these sites they'd think it was cool and Sir might get more work instead of less....(his competition at work gets more jobs because his wife screws the boss and I wont)

i have pictures on my profile ...one of them (the pic of me wear headphones on the "L" train) is my official photo for the radio station so i really have nothing to fear about being outted since my bosses and co-workers already know about my "alternative" lifestyle. that being said, i like this avatar the Latin phrase speaks close to my heart

just some possiblitys, and random thoughts that came to mind while reading the replys to this post. that said here is what i think<warning only my opion><i've been awake going on 29 hrs now pardon my spelling>(other than avitars or personal identy consveration) .idea #1. some people who use other pics instead of their own because they may feel insucre with them selves, and with that they might feel that what ever they're insucre about someone might veiw as a flaw if they were to post pics of themselves. #2. not evryone has the luxury of digital camreas. nuff said their. #3. they're lurkers as in people testing the water but not yet sure if they want to jump in or not. #4. all the photos they have are not of them selves.

thats all i got 4 now i think, sleep where are you why cant i find you??????????? p.s. if anyone wants to see my photo i think i have one on my profile lol

My avatar is me, as are all my pics. I used to use my whole face, but Master thought I should remove them when I went back to teaching high school. Teachers are often mistakenly held up to a higher moral standard. (Probably because we are paid so well to raise other's children and teach the values that they can't be bothered with. Oh, and to be responsible for all of society's woes. And to overcome poverty, drugs, Ipods, video games and music to focus kids on the importance of a good education. Oops. Should have issued a sarcasm alert......)

Your Master is very right. Despite the fact I'd feel perfectly safe with a pervert like you teaching my UM when I have her, not everyone is as benevolent as I am. (For those with a poorly developed sense of sarcasm, I fully support teachers doing anything they like in their private lives, but unfortunately you have to hide it, or the PTA starts grabbing pitchforks and torches.)

Since I'm a proDomme, naturally I show my real photos. I do not give out my real name, of course. I have been accused of using fake photos, or being a man in disguise before. I don't know if that's because someone thinks I've made a profile that matches a pro's website, or if they just think I'm a damned sexy drag queen... *shrug*

I do appreciate the people who use modified photos (looking away, creative cropping, or masks) to protect their identity. Photos that are blatantly not you is also at least honest. I'd have to sympathize with dawntreader - when you Actually plan to meet in person, perhaps it's time for admitting who you are?
