Oh you're going to be pissed off a lot if you let this one bother you, so don't.   Besides, I would imagine there is no offense in a dominant sending you a respectful note, and if he proposes a relationship you feel outside your boundaries, delete and or block if simple declining doesn't work.   M

It is amazing how many people have multiple screen names, profiles and such.  What is awful, is that some of these people pose as men as well as women; dominant and submissive--it would seem to me that they are just playing 'darts' and what ever the dart lands on, that is what they will be today.
 
Sad though, is when you have someone start an entire thread and talk to their alter-ego and or alter identity and its evident they're the same person and trying to pass a fast one over everybody.  One male Dominant was using two male Dominant identities as to create a good-cop --bad-cop dialog.
 
The ones who contact me are just looking to get their jollies off.  I'm rather use to it now.
 
Just some thoughts.

Excuse me???? I bottom all the time and am very much a dominant...ask my live in slave.

Now as for the OP

Yep...I get them all the time.  *S* and I tell them if they really want me to give them a chance they need to come back with a well written, filled out submissive profile.....then I'll consider them.  Of course I never say yes after giving said consideration.  (oh!  I guess I do enjoy hoops after all....but only for wankers)

If I believe someone when they tell me this (rarely to never) I'd indulge the conversation for a while to really see if he's on the level or not.

To the OP, yes.  All of the time.  I would tend to consider them more serious if they did list themselves as a switch (as others have mentioned).  I think it's a bit more honest.  Also a bit closer to the truth if they would ask Me straight out if they would like an opportunity to bottom for Me, which I consider to be different than submission.  Of course, I do put them through the same screening process as I would if it were a submissive wanting an opportunity to meet Me.  Most of them can't make it past that process anyway.

Now what I find interesting are those obviously fake female Dominant emails looking for other female Dominants to train or take over their submissive.

Status: offline 		While it took very heavy screening, I have played with and very muched enjoyed a few sessions with male doms who were not switches, they just wanted to know what it felt like to submit to a woman. These sessions have been heavy with feedback, many of the activities that our subs get used to ie kneeling before us and kissing our feet, having their balls tied up, otk spanking even simple rope bondage are revelatory to them and they feel the rush of humiliation and submission strongly.  It is admittedly rare that I am in the mood for this type of play, I prefer very experienced subbies, however variety is the spice...........

I'm sure there are many many exceptions to the rule, there are true Doms/Dommes (whatever true means in this world) that like to feel the whip every now and then...doesn't make them any less....actually there is a thread on this subject

What I'm referring to is....I don't think that some Dom contacting me on the very first email, that I've never met or spoken to, saying that they want to submit to me a true anything but a true "horndog"

Status: offline 		Part of the problem here is on a site like CM one has to chose a label from those which the site makes available, no matter whether it fits well or not. Thus I find it important to go into more details in the profile and journal entries.
That I have submitted to people in the past does not make me sub or switch now. That I have dominated before does not make me dominant today.
That I have played with homosexuals does not necessarily make me bi or gay. That I am a male who has loved playing with lesbian couples on many levels is something most labels do not fit.
If I seek domination of others, on this site chosing the dominant label makes sense, even if I am a true slave to one Mistress or Master in one part of my life.
Since I found many years ago an open mind can bring unexpected degrees of joy to my life, I try to learn a potential partner's charisma to see if it blends with mine from a dominant energy or a submissive energy.
I know it is certainly possible that some people are always submissive to all others and some are always dominant to all others, but I know this is not true of everyone. If one is honest about themself, one may have to say things at times which will end up not being true at other times or with other people.

Status: offline 		No most switches that I have spoken to have always been very up front about what they want and respectful. That is why I DO like switches because most are so honest and up front. Its as if they do not feel that they have to wear a specific label and frankly, I admire that.
