Does anyone roleplay anymore? Often when there's talk of "play scenes" or "roleplay" it dwindles into a discussion about people who are proud to state their their dominance or submission is not make believe, or a role, and that there's no need for "scenes" because scenes are for players. Call me a player, but I still love to roleplay as much as I did when I was a youngin' femdom, and "let's play make believe" was the only safe outlet to get my boyfriend to let me tie him up. After all, it was just make believe, right? I love the melodrama that comes with playing different roles, and I don't go into a lot of planning most of them time, just tell my man, "ok, you are a virgin that doesn't want to give it up to me." and then we go. I still get incredibly turned on when we do resistance type scenes, where I tell him he's not supposed to let me kiss him or seduce him, or that he has secret information I'm trying to get out of him. Even though we're "roleplaying," it doesn't take away from the fact that I am the dominant and he's the submissive anyway; except that he doesn't get the chance to say, "I don't want to roleplay. I want to watch F1 qualifying." I still enjoy planning kidnappings, "breaking" secret agents and being a naughty nurse. They aren't just excuses to use my toys because I can use them any time I want, but I like to add a little flavor now and then to change it up. It's never very complicated for us, in fact, I don't think beyond the one line "set up" I toss out there's anything to it - we don't assume fake names or accents (well, sometimes I make him do that), or dramatically change our personalities. I think roleplaying is very natural and exciting for me because it was one of the foundations for my femdom side. When I was just dating and trying to express my urges and desires in a safe way, I'd playfull ask my boyfriend at the time to assume roles "for fun" and that gave me a reason to use handcuffs or blindfolds, rather than just pull out the kinky toys and go, "Guess what, I'm a sadistic bitch!" I would love to get more in sex role-play, but it's just not something Valyraen is interested in. He doesn't care about the "real BDSMers don't play" bullshit, it's just not something that turns his crank. We do a lot resistence play and what I lovingly call the "slave breaking and demonstration" scenes. It's a lot of fun and always leaves me begging for more. [:)] Personally, I see it as being a toy. You don't have to like it, or love it but it's no different then a mutually erotic spanking.

I was minding my own business the other day at a party and someone asked me to play the rapist in a takedown scene that the recipient had NO idea was comming. To make it even more hot, they are monogamous so the scene started as a sort of rape, then he turned on me and "ran me off" because he decided to get "greedy"

Role play can be fun. If you enjoy it, by all means engage in it. If you don't, then don't engage in it. To each his own. Who am I to judge someone's fetishes?

I enjoy the bdsm aspect of life. The supposed "seriousness of living a ds lifestyle" grates on my nerves. I submit simply because that is what happens in a relationship where I feel free enough to let go of my control freak nature. But BDSM.. I LOVE that! It's hot. And sometimes that comes with a bit of role play. I have done some runaway teenager picked up while hitchhiking. I have been "kidnapped" and chained to a metal grate in the back of a van. Spent two weeks of a vacation shackled to a bed in the hotel room of an "escaped convict". i love role play but so could not do an unplanned scene...something about the fact that when i was a suicidal 14 year old it took 5 grown men to hold me down....and i don't need my personality to fracture anymore...i love listening to other peoples personal stories and going...that would be so hot...but dammit no... my favorite role plays are Daddy/daughter (different than that type of relationship) and basically anything that follows that thread...older authority/younger dependent...oh and animalistic...something about having the back of my neck bitten and fingers digging into my hips while i'm being fucked from behind by a "wild creature" just trips my trigger...vampires and witches and werewolves, oh my! chelle

Our last role-play involved us being strangers and meeting in a bar. Tip Don't go to a bar where people recognize you.[>:] I sit down with a seat between myself and my Sir with my head all in the scene we are about to play when the bartender says, "You two are together, aren't you?" I freeze unable to say anything. My Sir says, "We will be." I think the girl thought we were fighting. [:D]

A submissive we hadn't played with before was coming to play last night. She was emailed her instructions. She was a courier delivering a package. The package was to contain a tube of K-Y jelly. She was to arrive on the dot of 7.30, having first sent a TXT at 3pm to say that the delivery would arrive at 7.30pm. And by the way - our couriers don't wear underwear.... When she arrived she was greeted at the door by Nurse Glovely (moi), who was wearing a latex apron and a pair of butcher's gloves, and nothing else. She was ushered into the lounge, having been snarled at for being "late", and told that "The Professor" would be with her shortly. A shout of "Where's my package?!" was heard in the distance, and in walked Master wearing a matching rubber apron, gauntlets, and a full latex hood. She nervously held out her package, which he glared at .... and tossed in a corner. She then found out that she WAS the "package" - but we discovered "it" had come without operating instructions so we needed to torture out of her what she had done with them. This involved the use of the violet wand - but she was MUCH too dirty to be touched with it, so she had to be hosed down on the lawn (it's winter Downunder...) and shoved into the spa pool to be rinsed - with the lid down so she couldn't escape ... and so the role play went on all evening... Role play? We LOVE it! It doubles the anticipation for everyone leading up to the scene, so you get "more bang for your buck." She told us afterwards that she'd beeen worrying for days about the K-Y jelly, hahahaha. Thanks for the thread, Aakasha! :)) LH

"Does anyone roleplay anymore?" I am not really that into it, believe it or not... I think certain situations and RPing is okay and there is a possibility that it will really get me hot, but for the most part, I think the whole "fantastical" nature of it holds me back. For example, if Master and I were playing "Nurse/Patient," I wouldn't be able to keep my mind from thinking, "you aren't a nurse. You have no idea how to be a nurse. Why are you pretending??" LOL, I know it sounds so weird, but there's no stopping my mind!! Twink--

I adore roleplay! of all kinds... and of course, I need daddy soooooooooo much... Had a friend, mildly kinky.. and we roleplayed a few scenarious.. strangers in a bar.. daddy... When we roleplayed a priest and a sinner however, the ultimate guilt came in for the poor man... somehow, we struck him at the depths of his religous core. Not only did we have to stop roleplaying.. We stopped "dating" at all, though he would still talk to me... funny man...

Man, if I had a nickel for every time a slave started pretending like she was a student trying to earn a passing grade, or an innocent girl having her virginity stolen from her, I'd be able to retire. I think roleplay, particularly the non-elaborate kind, is alive and well in the minds of many -- it may just be that people are not talking about it, even with each other. I can imagine there are a lot of women and men out there are having sex and fantasizing about some scenario in their mind but not sharing it with their partner out of fear or embarassment. This is one place where building trust that she is accepted no matter what she says or thinks pays off -- she knows that no fantasy or roleplay she proposes will make me think less of her. If it isn't my taste, I'll simply guide it elsewhere.

The extent of our roleplay is Angel as my baby. As he gets more and more regressed and comfortable with it, it is becoming less roleplay and more reallife.
